"Bring him back to me please!!"

I tried getting away from Aileen but she just pulled me back into our room.

"I have to see him!! I just got him and I can't lose him now!!!"

"Mace please calm down!!"

"NO!!"

I felt a wave of power leave me as I roared at Aileen causing her to fall down almost unconscious.

I took my shot and ran out of the room with a tear stained face after getting Diana with her diaper bag. Franky and Arthur were down stairs luckily so I ran towards the back door.

Chris helped me escape from everyone while he was trying to contact Jay, Azazel's wolf.
I was quite so no one heard us and no one smelt us because of I forgot what it's called but before my mom died she gave me this kind of perfume spray thing that will hind your scent. I never told anyone about it so just incase I could be alone and they will think I'm where I last was.

I shifted at Chris's command put the diaper bag around my neck and because I had that thing that holds babies on their chest on it was still on when I shifted so Diana was on the front of my neck and kind of belly. I made sure to be carful when I ran while with Diana because I didn't want to hurt her. I ran into the woods and when I thought I was safe I shifted back into human form and put my clothes that were in my mouth on, pulled the diaper bag over my mouth and held on to Diana tight to my chest. I started walking into a neighborhood that one of my good friends lived in. I never really talked about him because well I didn't really feel the need too. But I knew when ever I needed him he would be there.
I ranged the doorbell and waited for someone to answer. For my luck it was him, Max.

Max was a 5'10 jock who has been my friend as long as Aileen but ever since high school we kind of drifted away. He has short light brown hair on the side and a little long on the top that he likes to brush over to the side. And being a jock he is very well built, very.

"Mace?!"

"Can I stay here for a while"

My face was still tear stained and more started to fall when Max pulled me in for a hug trying not to squeeze Diana that was between us.

"Of course man you know this is like your home. Now whats wrong dude?"

"Its Azazel"

Max brought me and Diana inside and got us a blanket an me a cup of hot chocolate before asking me again.

"What about him?"

"Luna is on to us and if he finds out we can't be together!! I already lost him once because I was a dick I cant do it again Max
If we get split up again for a while we will no longer exist"

"But if you don't tell him the same thing will happen"

"I can't do it!"

"You need to!! What will happen to your kid if you don't Mace!"

We didn't really say anything after that . I started to cry Max sighed as he got up and put me in his lap. I cried more while hanging on to him.
I broke down I front of him again.

There goes my masculinity.

He kept rubbing small circles on my back and helped me calm down.

"It's things like this that I moved out of the pack house. You can live with me as long as you like Mace I don't mind at all"

I nodded in response and said thank you.
I started to drift to sleep when I felt my self being picked up and placed onto a bed with a soft big warm blank thrown over me.

When I woke up it was midnight and I was hungry and to no ones surprise Max was right next to me with his hair messed up and a little bit of drool coming out of the corner of his mouth. I laughed at how funny he looked.

I went down stairs to the kitchen only to find a note that said

You feel asleep without eating and I'm guessing that you will be hungry when you wake up so I made you some steak, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and there is some lemon aid and a bottle ready for Diana in the fridge that just needs to be heated up.

I laughed at the thought of the memory. My mom could literally eat anything and everything and it explained why when Diana was born she was really fat at like 10lbs.

Before I ate I found the bottle that was in the fridge and heated it up along with my food. I went up stairs right when I heard Diana crying.
When I got there I found Max up holding Diana in his arms calming her down. There were only a small amount of people who can get her to calm down and that's Rose, Aileen, me and max.

"Shhhh it's ok Diana, come on baby girl shhh"

"I got a bottle"

Max turned around to look at me as I handed him the bottle.

"Thanks"

"I'm sorry she woke you"

"It's fine I remember how it was at the pack house with the babies"

He gave a small chuckle and place Diana in the crib.
And if you're wondering why he was a crib in his house it's because his sister and his niece used to live with him before they moved to a different pack with her mate.

"Did you heat up the food?"

"Yeah I was about to eat but I heard her crying"

"Ah ok well want to watch some tv while you eat?"

"Sure"

When we got down stairs Max turned on the tv an sat on the couch while I ate next to him. We were like this for awhile until we fell asleep. My head on his chest and his arms around my waist and hands over each one on my little belly.
