Mace

~Run! She betrayed us!~

I shifted once in the woods and I ran.
I ran for my life

I ran for my child

But most importantly

I ran for my love.

"Wait please! Mace let me explain!!"

Aileen tried to speak to me through mind link.

~Just keeping running Mace we can't trust her~

I quickly turned around and tackled Aileen to the ground.

"LEAVE US ALONE"

Fear was written all over her as I got up and left.

"Why?.... Why would you do this?"

I did not wish to talk.
There was no point if I were to die.

"ANSWER ME!"

"I never meant for it to happen.... I hurt him but he still forgave me. I lost his trust but I'm gaining it back.
I lost him, then I was found by him."

I felt nothing, only a tear roll roll down my face.

" p-please....."

I looked up at my dad who was crying on my moms shoulder.
More tears started to run down my face.

"....don't let this happen.... I'm begging you please.... I-I already hurt him once.... Killing me will certainly kill him and our child even if we break the bond!!"

I couldn't help but break down right in front of my parents. I was sobbing like a kindergartener. Rocking back and forth I couldn't stop shaking.

I got up suddenly and ran out the door. How could I have been so stupid I let him run.
I need to find him.

"Where are you!"

Threw mind link I called for him.

"I-I don't know.....Azazel please find me...."

Mace answered me crying.

He was lost and scared.
I followed his scent to a lake far back in our territory. He was sitting leaning back on a tree curled up in a ball.
Gently I walked up to him, sat down and pulled him into my lap.

We didn't want to talk. He just let it all out. How he felt; scared, lost, confused.
We were going to lose each other as nothing could be done.
Either my father would kill me or the Moon Goddess would come and speak my faith.

Hey sorry for my late and short update school has been a pain in the ass. FML! But anyway I'm sorry for this chapter Ik it sucks but I just really needed to update this i promise to make the next one longer and better.
