32.) Elder Hall

The Elder Hall.
A huge circular building in the middle of an abandoned forest somewhere in the U.S.
From top to bottom it holds over thousands of elder wolves from all over the world. Each month we gather for a meeting to discuss what we have experienced, leaned over the years, help each other, take care of our packs or just to meet the new elders. Basically we are the guardians of all the packs and we are also in a way the council.

Taking our seats our meeting began.
Because my great grandfather was in charge of these meetings and he had past when I was 15 I took over. It was hard but everyone helped me and never got mad when I messed up.

"Is everyone here?"

I spoke through the speaker loud and clear from the middle of the floor in my chair.

"No.
We are missing elders from Hazard Rain pack in Germany, all the elders from one of the Four King Packs, Inyo pack here in the U.S. and the elders from Giza Jua pack in Africa."

Zei Jung, a 524 year old woman from the Bamaneul pack in South Korea announced from her seat.

Even though there were lots of us we could hear each other with the speakers all around and we had screens on each sides of the wall so we could see who was talking.

"Both Hazard Rain and Giza Jua were wiped out yesterday."

A small, quite yet strong voice spoke in German making us look towards the screen to see who was talking.

"Families, mates, children...everyone. I am the only survivor from Hazard Rain."

The elder by the name of Valda Fabel told us breaking down in her seat.

The whole hall broke out into thousands of conversations. Never had a pack been wiped out before let alone two.

"How could this have happened?"

An elder from Rome named Naoki asked before getting up and walking to Valda, embracing her in a warm, loving and reassuring hug.

"Valda I need you to tell us all how you know of this? I know it's hard but we need to know so we may warn our packs so we can prepare before it happens again."

I spoke to her gently from my seat. Nodding in response she started.

"I-I was on my way here on a private plane when I felt everyone in my pack being slaughtered. My mate was killed along with my children, grandchildren, great grandchildren...everyone."

We all listened silently.

"Slowly and painfully I felt it all. Then suddenly I felt my link to my pack broke into little pieces as the last person was killed.
Leaving me the last of my pack."

"What about the Giza Jua pack?"

I asked gently.

"Before coming here I went to pick up the other elders from the pack. Because I heard their plane had crashed when someone had tired to steal it so I offered them a ride. But when I got to the grounds everyone had already been killed.
Children and parents we laying everywhere. I saw a mother holding her pup in her arms. Her throat was ripped out and her baby's head was smashed."

The whole hall got loud again. We were all scared of what was going on. This had never happened to anyone. Freaking out I didn't know what to do, I wasn't prepared for this. None of us were.

"What about the Inyo pack?! What happened to them!"

A young French wolf named Adolphe yelled worried.

"They most have be  slaughtered as well!! We must do something!!"

Yelled a 16 year old from the Blå ögon pack in Sweden. I believe this was her first meeting, her name I think was Nova.

"Please everyone calm down!
We mustn't panic it won't do anything to help."

I yelled getting everyone's attention.

"Josh is right we mustn't panic. Our job is to protect, help and teach our packs with our wisdom and power."

Lily a 956 year old woman from the UK agreed.

"Now, about the Inyo pack. Running, it will ta-"

"AHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Make it stop!!!!"

Suddenly all eyes were on Zei Jung and the other elders from the Bamaneul pack as they all screamed in agony.

"Joo-won!!"

"Shi-woo!!"

"Jung-soon!!"

They we all screaming names of their beloved. Quickly everyone started running to the Bamaneul pack and chaos broke out. The members of the Nocny Wiatr pack from Poland started to scream in agony as well.
Two more packs we just wiped out and those left were the elders. Everyone was freaking out. Comforting each other, crying, praying. No one knew who was behind all of this and what had happened to the Inyo pack, one of the Four Kings. But we knew that a world war was about to come to us all.
