22.) Azazel's slumber

I watched in horror seeing my Alpha and friend on the floor covered in blood. No one saw what had happened because of the light but we know it was bad.

Once the Moon Goddess had left, leaving Azazel in a deep slumber, I ran to him.
Carefully lifting his head to hear if he was breathing.

"Azazel? Buddy? Come on you gotta get up"

I started choking up a bit. I haven't really know Azazel that long but the time that we spent together made me feel as if he was my "Big" little brother seeing as I am older.

"Come on buddy"

I didn't really notice a tear leave my eye. I put my ear to his chest.

*Bum bum*

*Bum bum*

I calmed down knowing his heart was still beating.

Turning around with his head still in my lap I made eye contact with Mace.
He was on his knees holding his baby sister who was now crying and tears pouring from both eyes.
How he didn't scream in pain was a mystery to us all.
But as soon as said he fell to the floor.

Immediately everyone snapped out of their trances. Arthur helped me take Azazel to his room where he was to stay and not be disturbed, while Frank picked up Mace, an took him to the pack Doctor. And my mom taking Diana to the beta house.

"You should get some rest Aileen. We are all feeling the pain in different ways."

Putting his hand on my shoulder Frank tried to convince me to rest.

It's been at least 2 days since Azazel went into his slumber and I wouldn't leave his side.

"I am fine Frank but thank you for caring."

Giving him a weak but sincere smile he nodded and left us alone.
I turned back at Azazel.
I started to think about Mace. Since he black out he has been on bed rest until he can gain back enough energy, and so he would be able to sleep at night he was put in the room next door and given one of Azazel's shirts.

"You know Mace is on bed rest. Crazy huh hahaha.m..... I guess not...But think about it you two hated each other but you can't live without each other."

I gave a small sad laugh.

"Mace is going to visit you tomorrow. Well only if he has enough energy that is."

Brushing the hair from his face I gave him a kiss on the forehead.

"I better see those big brown eyes soon Azazel Angus. You can't leave us all yet. Especially with a family on the way."

Leaving the room I looked back to see him so still and fragile. Scared that I would break him if I closed the door to hard I gently closed it and went next door.

"Hey, how you feeling?"

Mace looked up at me with a little glum smile as he sat on the bed with his back against the back board and Diana laying in front of him giggling as he tickled her.

Before I jumped onto the bed with them I grabbed Azazel's shirt with me and put it on.

Alright let me explain because a wolf can not sleep without their mate after finding each other I have to put on Azazel's shirt to smell like him and sleep with Mace so he could sleep at night.

------------

"I don't even know Ai. But I feel broken."

Hugging him he leans on me trying to stay awake.
Which didn't really work because he ended up falling asleep on me.

Sighing I got up and put Diana him her crib, turned off the lights and went into bed where Mace laid his head on my upper arm and snuggled his face into my chest. I didn't really mind because I know he used to do this to Azazel and I smelled like him.

Mace
(Next day)

Waking into Azazel's room seeing him looking so fragile broke my heart.
I walked over to him and sat next down.

"Please don't do this Azazel, you have to wake up love."

A tear fell as I cupped his cheek moving the hair from his face.

"I know I'm not good at showing it but I care for you so much. The way you speak to me, hold me, kiss me...."

I gave a small laugh as I continued.

"Make me laugh, buy me snacks, even when you make me want to kill you at times! I love it all Azazel, but I love you more. I need you to get up babe. I can't do this without you.
You are my soul, my heart, the love of my life, my mate.
I know we didn't plan any of this but it happened and I need you here with me. I know I'm going to be here for our little bundle but it doesn't mean you shouldn't."

Tears poured out of my eyes like a waterfall. I leaned down do give him a kiss.

"I miss you Azazel....Anthony misses you too. He keeps kicking for his dad"

Laughing quietly I kept brushing his hair back with one hand and holding my 5 month stomach with the other.

"Please just wake up Azazel I need you."

Giving him one last kiss I went down stairs to eat.

I wouldn't talk or look at anyone. I just sat there eating my food quietly ignoring all the stares.

By the time dinner was done I was on my way to Azazel's room.

"Mace?"

A soft gentle voice spoke.

"Please don't, don't go in there"

My Luna begged as I had my hand on the handle.

"Baby it's just going to make it worse. Go and get some rest."

"But"

"But nothing go. It's ok. You know we will call you first if anything happens."

Nodding I walked over to the door before it and went into my room.

Even if I did have Aileen with me and she had  Azazel's shirt on I still couldn't sleep. It wasn't until at least 4 in the morning when I finally went to sleep.

This chapter is just a little filler kind of but again guys I am so so sorry I am terrible at updating!
