Just friends?

Chapter 13- saying bye is always hard

It was the day to say bye to Ariana and go back to Australia. "Sam you dont even understand how much i will miss you" Ariana said hugging Sam as tight as she could.  "I do understand because i will miss you the same way" Sam said and smiled. "Please babe dont cry" Jai took her away and wiped her tears away. "Jai i dont want you to go" she said and cuddled up to his warm coat. "Ariana do you think i want to?' Jai said and a tear dropped. Beau wiped tears from Sams cheeks and smiled. "I guess they are calling us" Beau said and hugged Ari to say goodbye. "I love you" Sam said and hugged Ariana. Her and Ariana have been bestfriends from Reception then Sam had to go to Australia because of her mums job. "I love you too" Ariana said and let go. A few more tears fell. "Cheer up brother you will see her soon" Beau said. 

They got onto the plane, Sam was sitting in the middle of Beau and Jai. Jai was by the window and the first thing he did was take out his ipad and put it on his lap. "Are you gonna be ant-social the whole journey?" Beau asked. Sam laughed. "Yeah why not? You two are gonna be just holding hands and kissing, i dont really wanna watch that!" he said and put his earphones in. "fine" beau smiled and looked at Sam. "What do you want to do?" Sam asked him."I dont mind, watch a film?" beau suggested. Sam took out her laptop from her bag and put on wall.e . Sam put her head on Beaus shoulder and he put his head on her head. After the film they started talking about what they are going to do when they get home. "Swimming? " Sam smiled. "Yeah ok, theme park after?' Beau said. "But then a piknic in the park" Sam smiled and giggled. "Sex?" Beau put on a cheeky smile. "Beau i dont think im ready!" Sam started blushing. "I will wait forever" He said and kissed her on the forehead.

The plane journey was long but seem like 5 minutes. Gina picked them up, Sam could tell she was faking a smile, was their something wrong? "Meet me here in 10 minutes" Beau said and gave Sam her suitcase. Sam nodded her head and went inside her house "Mum?" Sam said putting her suitcase on the floor in the front room. Her dad was sitting on the chair with his face in his hands. "Hey dad" Sam said and smiled. He didnt even move. "Dad?" Sam said worried. "Dad? Please answer you are freaking me out" she came up to him and put her hand on his shoulder. "Dad look at me" He looked at her, there was tears in his eyes. "Dad wheres mum?" Sam asked. "Sam...please can i be alone just give me a few minutes i will talk to you in a minute" his voice was weak. Sam nodded and walked upstairs.

There was a knock on the door. "Sam you here?" Beau came in when he realised the door was left opened. "Beau?" she said and put her head out her room."Come up here" she said and watched him walk upstairs. "We going out Sam?" he asked smiling. "I cant something has happened I have to stay home with my dad" she said and her happiness faded once more. "What has happened? Sam?" Beau said taking her hand and playing with her fingers. "Beau i dont know" she said and put her head on his shoulder. "I will stay with you tonight" beau said and hugged her. "Thank you, stay up here for a second. I will talk to my dad" Sam said and walked out the room. She made her way downstairs.

"can we talk now?" she asked and sat right in front of him. "When you was gone.."his voice trembled.
