«VALERIA'S POV»
CHAPTER FIVE

"This house is awesome."

"I've seen better," Violet shrugged off Sam's statement as we skidded to a stop in front of Nick Casanova's three-story house, not that big if you ask me, but I'm surprised that Sam's not used to these kinds of houses yet. I saw Sam inaudibly mock Violet's words from the rear-view mirror and I snorted as Violet got out a mini-mirror to check her make-up.

"Perfect." Violet smacked her lips together as she stuffed the mirror back into her Kate Spade purse and started getting out of the car."See you guys on the flip side." She winked as she closed the door shut.

Is 'flip side' code for 'when I'm drunk' ?

"Ready?" I smiled at Sam.

"Duh." She answered coolly with a smirk and slipped out of the backseat of the car.
I arched an eyebrow and craned my neck as I watched Sam through the window confidently stride in the house, hot on Violet's heels.
Sam's not one for parties even though rumors about her being a slut commonly go around- most of the rumor spreaders usually end up getting beaten up because Sam has a bad temper. Sam's actually also a light-weight so I have to remind Violet to watch out for her tonight. I sighed and smoothed down the edges of my hair as I took the key out of the ignition and threw it in my purse.

Here we go, I thought as I got out of the car.

When I finished locking the car, I flipped my hair over my right shoulder and walked to the front-door, catching attention of bystanders while doing so. It's not unusual for me to go to parties so I'm used to the stares from other people. Violet's more of the party-goer when it comes to the three of us so I'm not surprised when I walk into the house only to see her already dancing with one of the football players, Zach Loden. She catches my eye as Zach starts kissing her neck and winks at me causing me to smile knowingly while striding to the bar.

"One sprite." I smile seductively and bat my lashes at the young bartender, prompting him to scurry and get my drink in less than fifteen seconds, poured with a straw and all. I would get a margarita or scotch but as I saw Sam swig beer and Violet sip on what looked like vodka, I realized maybe I should make my self the designated driver for tonight. "Thanks." I grinned at the guy and he nodded meekly and went on to the next person. I sipped on the soda and watched from my seat as people danced and made out for so long I thought they would faint from lack of oxygen.

"Valeria, how nice to see you here." I heard a emetic voice squeal from behind me.

I suppressed a groan and plastered a fake smile on my face as I spun around in my seat to greet the one and only Lily Morgans.

"I would say the same for you but my parents told me to never lie." I informed sweetly.

"Your parents don't have the time to talk to you, bitch." Lily sneered, her nice facade dropping for a split-second before she smiled once again.

Lily Morgans. Daughter of Anthony and Regina Morgans, both who are famous actors. Also known as captain of the cheerleading squad for Masswill High, Harold High's rival school.

One word to describe her? Bitch.
Oh, or slut. Whichever works for you.

"Can't you go crawl back down to hell," I narrow my eyes and scan her slutty outfit which consists of a pink skirt that barely covers her butt, a white tank top that ends right under her boobs and lengthy pink heels.
