Wait!
Don't go there.
There's light over there,
And you want to focus on the darkness.
You want to keep your hood over your head.
You want people to know your name as some stupid pseudonym you made up on the Internet.
I get you.
You want to stay hidden.
You don't want to play their game,
And I don't blame you.
You don't want to be a number,
In a human farm.
You don't want to be a memorable face,
You just want to be left alone to do your thing.
I understand.
I feel the same.
You don't want them to use you,
You don't want them to abuse you;
And I don't blame you for it.
I know how bad it is,
When you're identity;
Isn't secret.
Dirtbags like then,
Tend to dig up dirt on people,
Just so they can feel less dirty.
It's a cycle you're not going to stop.
So do,
Keep running in the shadows with me.
Keep hiding around the corner,
Because I sure as shit;
Don't want them to put a label on me,
And sell me like a disgusting cow heading to the slaughterhouse for the last time.
