I am literally going 80 on the highway when I should only be going 60, but this is an emergency. I'm only ten minutes away from the airport and all the sudden my car starts slowing down. Fine, I'll only go 65. I'll still make it in time. Then smokes starts rolling up from the hood of my car. No, this can't be happening, not now. I pulled over onto the side of the road. I'm still seven miles away. There's no way I'll make it time now. I got back inside my car and started crying. I've been sitting here for a good three minutes until someone knock on my window, my cousin Kaden.

"Hey what happened?", he asked. I got out of the car and hugged him.

"Who cares! Drive me to the airport!", I said wiping the tears off my cheeks. I pulled Kaden into his car. He quickly drove to the airport. We got there and it was 3:44.

"Do you need a ride back home?", he shouted after me. I just ignored him and ran into the airport. There were huge crowds of people. I ran to the flight list and flight 59 was all the way on the other side of the airport. I ran as fast as I could pushing and shoving people out of my way. Once I got to the entrance I couldn't find any tall blondes. I took a chance and walked down as far as security would let me. I stood on a chair so I could see the whole crowd. Rydel! I found her! Where's Ross? There he was in a black beanie.

"Ross!", I tried to yell, but so many people were around I could barely hear myself. I got off the chair and tried to run over to him, but security stopped me. "ROSS!", I screamed at the top of my lungs. "Let me go! ROSS!", I started kicking hoping they would let go of me. It almost sounded like I was getting kidnapped. As security was trying to drag me out and create a huge scene, I screamed again, "ROSS!" His head snapped around, but he didn't see me. I continued to struggle, but ther gurads were a lot stronger than me.

"No! Let me go! He's right there! I need to see him!", I yelled at the security guard. "Ross!",I yelled again hopping he would hear me.

"Hey let her go. I'll take care of her", Kaden said to the officer.

"Okay, but she needs to go back up the ramp", the security guard said.

"Just let me see Ross, then I'll leave. It'll take five minutes!", I said.

"No, you need to leave before you get yourself into more trouble", he said. I started walking back up the ramp. Who does that guy think he is? He probably thinks I'm so crazy ass fan. Once I realized the security guard wasn't looking I turned around and ran past them again.

"Ross!", I yelled pushing through people. I saw him about to walk outside to get on his plane, but the police dragged me away this time. They took me down to the police station and put me in a holding cell until they could get a hold of parents to come and pick me up. This is going to take a lot of explaining.

"Miss, you're free to go", the officer said escorting me out. Kaden was standing there spinning his car keys on his finger.

"How did you get them to let me out?", I asked following Kaden to his car.

"I told them I was your older brother. Now you have a lot of explaining to do", he said. I didn't tell him the whole story, but I told him Ross was my friend and I needed to say goodbye to him. Sure it wasn't a good excuse, but it was the best I could come up with. This was the last time I'll probably ever see Ross and this is the last time he'll ever see me. Kaden dropped me off at home. I ignored my parent's questions as I was walking up the stairs. I flopped down onto my bed and got under the covers. I guess I'll just be spending another good week in my bed. Why do I always have to mess everything up? My stubbornness cost me Ross. I don't think I could ever forgive myself for letting him go that easily. I plugged in my headphones and put Like I'm Gonna Lose You by Meghan Trainor on repeat. I definitely don't regret anything that happened these past two weeks with Ross. I found love. I might not have been for long, but it was still love. He was special. We were special.

~Three Days Later~

It's been two weeks, and I'm actually doing pretty good. I'm back in school at the Art Institute of Colorado in Denver studying photography. I haven't heard anything from any of the Lynch's. It's literally been like nothing ever happened. I'm still trying to decided if that's a good or a bad thing. I'm sitting at the park taking pictures of the mountains. It's just about to rain so the  dark thunderstorm clouds look really cool above the mountains. Just as it was starting to sprinkle my phone started playing What Do You Mean? By Justin Bieber, which is my ringtone. It stopped right as I pulled my goons out of my pocket. 1 missed phone call from Ross. Should I call back? Did he even mean to call me? He still has my number? I shoved my phone back into my pocket and zipped my coat up over my camera so it wouldn't get wet. Why doesn't my day ever get brighter anymore?
