The Phoenix

Aphmau's Pov

I grabbed my bag and began stuffing my clothes and personal belongings into it. I was going to leave for O'Khasis Guard Academy in about an hour. There was a sudden knock on my door and I went to open it.

"Oh hello Father" I said cheerily.

"Aphmau I have something for you" Lord Luke said handing me a heavy box.

I opened it to find a special made set of armor. I carried it over to my bed and set it down. I pulled out the armor and looked at it. On the chest piece was a phoenix symbol. On the helmet was purple feathers coming out the top and a matching purple cape. I can't just wear this helm all the time I need to find a way to disguise myself better I thought. Then an idea popped into my head. I ran into my bathroom and began digging through the cabinets. I found a bottle of purple black hair dye and got right to work dying my hair. I wet my hair and squeezed the contents into my hair. When I was finished I called for my professional hair stylist. She came in and I had her cut my hair so it was down to about the middle of my back. I looked at the time and saw it was almost time to go so I grabbed the rest of my things threw them into my bag and ran down stairs. When I got outside I called Flamenta my pet Phoenix. Flamenta flew down and landed on my extended arm. I climbed onto my horse and let Flamenta take off. I then set out to go to O.G.A. (O'Khasis Guard Academy) while thinking of a name for myself so no one would know who I was. I eventually decide on the name Jessica. The reason why I had to change my name was so no one would learn about my dark past.
