Aphmau's POV

I looked up to see who I ran into, it was Laurence.

"Oh no." I said nervously because I forgot I was in my shadow knight form and though I wasn't.

"Are you alright?" Laurence asked calmly extending his hand.

"I'm fine." I said taking his hand.

"I am so sorry for running into you, I didn't mean to." I apologized.

"It's quit alright." He replied.

I walked away and began to feel dizzy. My head hurt and I was losing balance suddenly everything went black.

My mother sat with me, we were feeding Flamenta. My mother suddenly stopped and turned to me.

"Aph you are special you know that right?" My mother said sweetly.

"No I'm not I don't have Magicks like other special kids." I grumbled.

"Aph come here. You are special the Divine Warriors are with you. I can sense the light with in you, it's there you just have to embrace it." My mother explained taking my hands. "Now breath in and out slowly, empty your mind, feel the light with in." My mother instructed.

I did as she said and a glowing light came from behind me. I looked back just in time to see a set of white Angel wings appear on my back.

"Momma momma look!!" I exclaimed jumping up and down.

"See you are special Aph!" She reminded me.

My eyes fluttered open someone was carrying me. I looked up to see it was Laurence. I began to squirm and by the looks of it Laurence didn't know I was awake. I fell to the ground with a whump, I immediately got back up and turned to Laurence.

"I'm so sorry I have to go." I explained before turning and running following Laurence close behind me.

I wasn't fast enough and I knew it. I stopped and used my magicks, white wings appeared on my back and I took off into the air trying to get away.

"Aph!?" Laurence yelled questioningly.

"Aph wait!!" Laurence called still chasing me.

I swooped down and grabbed him and lifted him into the air. Laurence screamed and I covered his mouth muffling his screams. I flew to a secluded area and landed letting Laurence go.

"Aph what the hell are you doing!" Laurence screamed.

"Laurence please let me explain." I responded.

"What's going on?" Laurence asked sternly.

"I'm wanted for something I didn't do." I replied.

"Okay so why do you have white hair and lilac eyes?" Laurence questioned.

"This is my... Shadow knight... form. I said hesitantly.

"Don't tell anybody about me please. Zane will take me to the Shadow Lord." I said worriedly.

"Alright but can you come back to the Guard academy? Laurence asked.

"I guess but I have to keep a low profile. I will stay in my shadow knight form and not use my shadow knight strength or skills. I can visit you and tell you everything that's going on if you will keep this between you and me, deal?" I explained.

"Deal." Laurence agreed.

I took him back and we went to the Guard Academy and we went and talked on the hill. I turned into my normal form for the time being. It was exhausting staying in my shadow knight form for so long.

"Do you know where I can stay for the night?" I asked.

"You can stay with me." Laurence responded.

We didn't notice Garroth walking up behind us.

"Laur---- Aphmau!?" Garroth said shocked.

"G-G-Garroth!!" I said my eyes becoming wide.

"I thought you were gone." Garroth replied. I realized what was going on and became serious. I walked over to Garroth and got real close to him.

"If you tell anyone I'm here I will kill you!" I said in a hushed whisper.

"I-I won't." Garroth replied nervously. He walked off and I turned into my shadow knight form but then got an idea.

"Laurence can I be your twin sister?" I asked curiously.

"Umm okay." Laurence agreed.

Using my Magicks I turned my hair to a dirty blond and my eyes to a dark blue. We walked down and some people asked who I was and we told them we were twins. We finally got back to Laurence's dorm and went to bed. I woke the next morning and got ready for class. The teacher told us that the High Priest Zane was coming later today to see us. I didn't believe he was coming to see us I thought he was coming to look for me. In my head I silently hoped I would have another fainting spell today just so I could avoid Zane. Later that day Zane showed up just like the Teacher said.

"Alright cadets we are going to play a game. Each of you are going to come up to me and we will duel. Anyone who can defeat me gets a prize." Zane explained.

It was finally my turn to go up and fight Zane. I walked over and took my sword holding it up. W ebegan to battle but I felt like he was holding back. I sensed something dark about him and asked Irene why he was her High Priest in my head. We continued to battle and he eventually used his full power. I used my full shadow knight skill and strength and eventually beat him.

"Come with me." Zane smirked grabbing me by the arm dragging me off.

I resisted and pulled but he wouldn't let go. Suddenly something hit me on my forehead and everything went black.
