Aphmau's POV

It was early the next morning I haven't slept since I woke up at midnight. I walked down stairs and started a pot of coffee. While the coffee was brewing I got ready for work, today I started working as a guard. I pulled on my phoenix armor except for my helmet. I carried my helmet into the kitchen and placed it on the counter. I made myself a cup of coffee and sat at the table with a bagel. I looked at the clock and noticed that I was going to be late. I decided I wasn't going to be late so I turned into a phoenix and flew at top speed. I landed a block away from the guard station and turned back to my original form. I then used my an illusion spell to make my armor look like the other guard's armor. I pulled my helmet on and walked into the guard station to see what I was supposed to do. I walked over to the head guard and he sent me with Garroth as his apprentice. We walked around for a while talking when I noticed something watching us. I stopped talking and listened I felt a dark presence and moved toward the area and Garroth followed. I stopped and looked around again and noticed a trap, I picked up a rock and tossed it at a trip wire hook. Suddenly an arrow flew right towards me and I dropped to the ground. I quickly got up and moved towards a small clearing and drew my sword Garroth did the same. Suddenly a shadow knight ambushed us using dark magicks to trap Garroth and attacking me. He threw me to the ground and held his sword at my throat.

"The shadow army's are coming and you will fight with us." The shadow knight smirked.

"I will never." I growled back.

"You will or when your child is born we will slaughter it." The shadow knight threatened.

"You will never have me or my child." I snarled angrily going into full shadow knight form.

"You think you can hurt me. You are wrong." I yelled throwing him off of me.

Using my magick's I lifted him into the air and threw him into a tree. I ran over to him pinning him to the tree with my magicks. I pulled out my sword and held it to his chest, then I pressed the sword right threw his chest killing him and his magicks released Garroth. I turned and walked past Garroth and ran up to me.

"Aph what did he mean by your child?" Garroth asked.

"Nothing." I snarled

"Aph please tell me." Garroth said.

"I SAID NOTHING!" I yelled pushing him very hard into a tree.

"I-I'm s-sorry." I apologized realizing what I had done.

I turned and ran as fats as I could through the forest and into town. I ran to my apartment and paced back and forth trying to calm myself but with no success. continued to walk back and forth back and forth talking to myself. There was a sudden knock on the door and I didn't want to see anybody, so I used my magicks and locked the door. I sat on the floor holding my head in my hands while rocking back and forth. The knocking continued and it was getting annoying.

"What do you want and who are you?" I snarled.

"It's Garroth please let me in." Garroth responded.

"No!" I called before going to my dimension.

I sat on the root of the tree before falling fast asleep.
