Wounded

Aphmau's POV

I woke up nobody was awake and decided to go get some food. I got up grabbed my bow and walked off into the forest. I heard a twig snap behind me, I pulled back the arrow in my bow turned around to see who or what it was. It was a person, not just any person though a shadow knight. He knocked the bow out of my hand and I quickly drew my sword. There was clang of our swords meeting. I swung my sword at him but he blocked it. We battled for Irene knows how long. Suddenly he caught me off guard and stabbed my stomach. That angered me and I lifted my sword and stabbed him through the chest before he could come back in for another blow. I dropped my sword as I began to shake my vision going dizzy. I felt lightheaded from blood loss and I knew that. I started walking and calling out for help but my legs gave out and I dropped to my knees, then everything went black.

Garroth's POV

I saw Aphmau leave with a bow and some arrows, I assume she is going hunting. Laurence began to stir and so did Azura, Cadence was still sleeping though. I walked around and gathered some sticks and started a fire. Then Flamenta flew in and landed on the stick, she was on fire and it immediately caught the logs on fire. Flamenta grabbed me by the collar and began dragging me towards the forest, I was able to get away.

"Garroth do you hear that?" Laurence asked me. I walked over by him and listened.

"It sounds like somebody calling for help. Let's split up and see what we can find." I responded.

Azura went west, Laurence went east, Cadence went south, and I went north. I walked for a while with no success. Suddenly I saw something lying in the grass stained with blood. I ran up to the person to see it was Je- Aphmau. She had been stabbed through the stomach, I checked her pulse and breathing she was fading slowly. I quickly picked her up and carried her back to camp. Everybody was back and as soon as they saw Je- Aphmau they ran to me. I laid her down next to the fire and Cadence dug through Aphmau's bag, searching for a medical kit. She finally found one and handed it to me. I opened it and pulled out some cloting powder bandages and surgical tape. I poured the clotting powder in to the wound and then wrapped the bandages around her stomach. I picked her up and climbed onto a horse. I took off at a full gallop. I finally made it to town where I went immediately to the hospital. I ran in and the nurses and doctors took her and told me to wait here. I was sitting on a chair when a guard came up to me and started asking question's.

"Do you know what happened? Where were you when this happened? Where you the only one there or were their other people with you?" The man began interrogating me.

"I don't know exactly what happened I found her like this. I can take you to where I found her. And there were three other people with me." I responded.

Aphmau's POV

My eyes fluttered open and everything was white. I tried to sit up big mistake, it sent pain shooting through my stomach. I looked around and saw Garroth sitting in the corner staring at the floor.

"G-garroth?" I mumbled weakly. Garroth's head shot up and he walked to me.

"W-what h-happened?" I asked weakly.

"I found you and you had been stabbed." Garroth explained. Suddenly there was a knock on the door.

"Come in." Garroth called. Cadence ran in and hugged me, Laurence and Azura followed her.

"Whoa Garroth you might want to change you are covered in blood!" Laurence exclaimed.

"I know but I've been here the whole time." Garroth replied.

"Are you alright Aph?" Cadence asked worriedly.

"I'm fine." I assured her. Cadence let go of me and Azura and Laurence came and asked if I was okay.

"Can I get some rest now please?" I asked. Everybody nodded and walked out the door.

I laid my head down and stared at the ceiling my thoughts where spinning. I kept telling myself to thank Garroth for saving me. Suddenly He walked in.
