~~~9 Months later~~~

Aphmau's POV

I was lying in my little cottage it had been 3 moths since I ran away. I couldn't hurt Garroth like I did again. Suddenly I felt a strong pain and all I could do is curl up in a ball until it stopped. I suddenly came to the realization that my baby was coming. I walked outside slowly and got my horse. I climbed onto my horse and took off towards the village of Pikaro. I rode into town and pulled my horse to a halt. I climbed off and called for help. A woman from the nearby inn came to my aid. She took me inside and out me in a room.

I heard a soft cry and I smiled and took the baby into my arms and cradled her. Holding her close to me I began to cry softly tears of joy.

"Well what's her name?" The lady asked.

"Irene." I replied smiling.

"Why that name?" The lady questioned.

"In memory of my mother Lady Irene." I responded not realizing what I had said.

The lady just smiled and left me alone. A few minutes later I got up and walked out to my horse. I climbed on my horse and rode home carefully cradling the now sleeping child. When I got home I placed her in a crib I had made, but she woke up and began to cry. I picked her up and sang her a lullaby and she fell back to sleep. I set her back down and went to bed. It was a long night but I had to find someone to care for Irene because I couldn't. I picked up Irene and placed her in a basket with a blanket. I rode my horse into Pikoro village and knocked on the Inn keepers door. The Lady from yesterday answered and she looked confused of why I was back.

"I need you to take care of Irene for please." I said sadly.

"Why?" The Lady asked with a confused look on her face.

"B-Because I'm a... shadow knight." I explained turning into my shadow knight form.

She took Irene and I rode off into the forest as tears where streaming down my face. I stopped at my cottage and took all my stuff and put them into some backpacks and left. I rode my horse for a while until I came across O'Khasis. Using an illusion spell I made myself look like a girl with red hair, blue eyes and a peasant girl outfit with a brown cloak. I lead my horse into town where I ran into Garroth.

"Oh I am so sorry sir." I apologized quickly.

"It's quit alright, are you okay you seem like you have been crying?" Garroth said.

"I'm fine." I said picking up my bags and walking away. I walked to the nearest inn and got a room. I sat on the bed in my normal form thinking. Was it the right choice to give Irene away like I did. I kept asking myself. I had to for her safety, maybe we will meet one day and we can be together.
