Warning: Slight mention of sex (like the use of words like 'virginity' and 'bang') but there would be no description of activity of sex because this is not a smut. Also, i cant write smuts. Don't wanna.
Use of the word 'slutty' also. (Once. Only once. I'm serious, this oneshot is CLEAN.)

Leo wondered if you had still liked your ex.

Although he knew you broke up with him, he still felt unsure if he should make a move on you. You seemed to always be glancing at your ex's way, either glaring or sending invisible daggers whenever he was with another girl.

Not to mention, he had just managed to get into your large circle of friends. He was still trying to be your close friend and he was scared one wrong move could end all his efforts.

"Halloween Party?" Leo asked Piper who was chilling at Bunker 9, telling him infomation about the upcoming party, while he was busy working on Feutes.

Feutes clicked and groaned in reply with Piper smiling and poking Leo as he was fixing some gears.

"(y/n) is going," she poked Leo again, making the boy jump away from her.

"So?"

"You can ask her out," Piper said simply as if asking you out was an east task, which it was, but Leo thought otherwise.

"It's not as easy as it seems Piper," he climbed onto Feutes, "there would be so many guys chasing after her, also, don't forget her ex. She might still like him."

"How do you know many guys would chase after her?" Piper teased, "Did she tell you that?"

Leo hesitated a while before nodding his head, "But that doesn't mean she likes me. She might have told others too about the guys who confessed to her."

Piper laughed. "Leo, I'm one of her closest friend. She tells me just that. You? You just befriended her like, a few weeks ago and she tells you all that? It's obvious something is fishy."

"Well, than can you explain why she keeps looking at her ex whenever he is with another girl?"

Piper looked around the workplace for the gem Leo had kept for "someone special". Once she found it, she shoved it to Leo as he climbed down from Feutes. "Here, finish your project. It's not good to keep archiving things for too long. I expect to see you at the party with (y/n)."

Leo caught the gem and gently placed it inside his tool belt, shaking his head. "If I managed to go to the party with her, I owe you big bucks."

"Oh, I already won your big bucks Valdez," she said smiling confidently and she left.

The conversation played again in Leo's mind. He was confused. Piper said he should at least try, and he doesn't see a reason to not follow her orders. Piper knows love more than me, Leo thought. She is the daughter of the goddess of love.

With that, he went to Feutes and tried a few pick up lines.

Leo felt jittery and nervous. He had prepared many jokes to cover up his nervousness as usual, but really, he doesn't need it. His brain has been hardwired to create jokes on the spot when he felt insecure. He used to be grateful for it because he always felt better seeing the more powerful person or object just go "huh" and less dangerous. Now he wished his brain was different because he was definitely messing up.
