Chapter 23

~Ruby's POV~

After playing the match for over an hour more than a quarter of the people who showed up were caught and seeking. It was a better turn out than expected, even some professors came out to watch the seekers find the hiders. No one has found Weiss or Yang though. That's the main goal that Blake and I had before we got separated.

Sprinting across the rooftop I had spotted a hider. They were hiding in a chimney, and hadn't moved for a while. When I eventually reached the building I jumped over the chimney and shot into it, hitting her right on her chest.

Though my shooting might had been smooth, I landed on my butt. She climbed out and giggled before helping me up. "Nice shot," she said, taking a bag of paint balls I handed to her.

I smiled, "Thanks. By any chance have you seen a white haired Schnee running around. She's my girlfriend and I've been searching for her forever?"

The girl nodded, "She was running by your friend Blake. That's all I saw."

I nodded, "Best of luck." Then I ran towards the other side of town to find my queen.
