Jaz's POV

Sunday. Sunday na ngayon. Sean texted me awhile ago to say good morning and to invite me on a date. But I refuse. Today is Sunday. Today, me and my family have a family bonding. We're doing this every Sunday.

Kasalukuyan akong nagbibihis ng damit na binigay sakin ni mommy. She said, I must wear this. It's a green dress, with a laces of yellow. And other accessories that suits the dress.

Shine also braided my hair and let other hairs fall on my face. She also applied light make-up.

"Look, ate. Mas maganda ka kung aayusan mo ang sarili mo." she said while lifting my chin up. Nakaupo kasi ako sa harapan ng salamin tapos si Shine nasa likod ko which is standing. Kaya in order to see her angelic face, she lifted up my chin.

"So, you mean, I'm not pretty without this?" I asked while refering to the make-ups.

"No! Its not what I meant. Ung ibig kong sabihin, MAS gumanda ka. Maganda ka naman talaga eh. Kailangan mo lng talaga ayusan." she said, defensively.

"Oo na. Ako na maganda." I said sarcastically. Pareho naman kming natawa sa sinabi ko.

Lumabas na kmi at bumaba. When we reached the living room, my mom greeted me with a hug. That was so tight huh. I almost can't breathe.

After that emotional introduction. We started travelling to our destination.

After how many hours of travelling, we finally reached our destination. We are in a private resort here in Tagaytay.

Its ours. We also have private resorts in Cebu, Antique, Aklan, Bulacan and Tarlac.

"Mom?" Shine called. Mom looked back at her. We are already inside the resort. Walking our way to our resthouse.

"Yes, darling?" Mom asked.

"I just wanted to ask permission?" patanong na sagot ni Shine.

"Permission to?"

"If ate and I could swim after we ate?"

"Of course. Enjoy your time today." mom answered.

"Yes! Thank you mom!" Shine said joyfully.

Akala ko sasaya ako ngayong araw, hnd pala. Kahit ksi kumain ako, lumangoy ako, maglaro ako, palaging dumadaan sa isipan ko si Sean. Ang hirap talaga ng buhay.

"Shine, what if we tried to walk beside the seashore? Hnd ka ba nagsasawang lumangoy?" I teased her.

"Ate naman eh. Sge na nga." she finally said. So childish.

We walked and walked hanggang sa napadpad kmi sa pinakadulo ng resort. Nakita namin sa likod ng mga bato sila mommy and daddy. We we're about to walk near then but we heard their conversation.

"I can't let go of our daughter, hon. I really can't." we heard mom said. She is now crying.

"Its ok, hon. We both knew that our daughters will have their own family soon. Don't worry, I bet that guy really loves ou daughter. You see? He really came here just to confess." dad said. I wonder who they are talking. Kinakabahan ako. Parang alam ko na ang ibig nilang sabihin eh.

"Shine, let's go back." I said. She was about to complain but I grabe her hand and ran back to our resthouse.

"Sa tingin mo Ate, ano ung ibig sabihin nila ni mommy?" she asked.

"I don't know. Pro mas mabuti kong huwag kng mag pahalata na narinig mo yun. Ok?" paninigurado ko.

"But why, Ate?" she asked again.
