Denton was carrying the suitcase filled with food. Zylen volunteered to carry the other supplies we needed in the bag. Hunter was carrying a few things as well. But I got let off the hook so I don't have to carry anything! Muffin was eagerly following us.

We only started walking like two minutes ago or whatever so we haven't really gotten anywhere. Which makes sense. Duh.

This actually put me in a pretty good mood so I wasn't mad or annoyed or anything. I don't know why but this feels like it's gonna be fun.

"So, where're we headed?" I asked.

"I don't really know." Hunter said.

"You stupid bastards didn't even attempt to plan?" I asked.

"Hehe..." Hunter said scratching the back of his head.

"Geez, you should've at least had some sort of general idea of what we were gonna do instead of being stupid lost freaks." I spit out.

"Well, we're kind of already 'stupid lost freaks'" Denton pointed out.

"Whatever." I said.

He was right though. We were in the middle of fucking nowhere and we were probably never going to even be found. All we have is each other too.

"Okay, we should split up." Hunter suggested.

"Why?" Zylen asked.

"We need more food for ourselves! How about this, Denton and Mia, you go out in all of those trees and search for our food. Zylen and I will catch some more fish for Muffin since she has almost none left. Okay, we all agree?" Hunter explained.

"Yes!" we said at once.

"Okay, great."

Denton and I started our walk through the little mini forest thing. Looking for food here was probably going to be a bit difficult but we could manage. We'll probably just get some berries or whatever. Some dumb shit like that.

"Hey, were you even listening?" Denton asked interrupting my thoughts.

"You said something?" I asked.

"Well, yeah!" he said.

"Oh, well, what is it?"

"Never mind." he said trying to shake it off.

"Okay, well, now I actually really want to know." I said.

"Nothing it was just...uh..." he said averting his eyes.

"Cat got your tongue, eh?" I joked.

"Shut up! I just can't remember it, okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever."

We were out searching for food longer than we thought. It was almost sunset. We thought we'd be back a little after noon but we've barely found anything. It was quite disappointing actually. Hopefully Hunter and Zylen were having good luck with the fish. Or...doing some forbidden things.
