Chapter 10

Hey guys!! So I hope that you guys enjoyed that last chapter. Lol I just ran out of ideas and I wanted a moment and that was such a crappy way to do that! XD BUT IT MADE IT INTERESTING I THINK SO ITS ACCEPTABLE!! Also, I'm doing some of this on my iPad so the pages might be more or less than you're used to so yeah lol. "Everything'll be fine. I promise."

I fucking lied.

"Whatever, mom. It's my life. It's not like you or dad cared."

I bet they do now.

"Hm? Why Japan?!"

"Look at her. She's crying. What a baby."

"Hey, it'll be okay. Don't listen to them. They're just big bullies! So, I'm gonna be your friend and they'll leave you alone. Kay?"

Maybe this is death. Maybe you just watch your life over and over until it's your turn to enter the gates of heaven.

I opened my eyes. I looked around me sitting up and saw the guys sleeping by my side. I sighed a breath of relief. I wasn't dead. Although, my throat felt scratchy and my left arm felt numb.

"Mia...?" Hunter said grudgingly.

"Hm? Hunter?"

He grabbed my waist and pulled me down closer to him. I felt my cheeks heat up slightly. His eyes were still closed.

"H-Hunter...?" I asked.

"Sshh...go back to sleep." he said pulling me even closer.

"Y-yeah..." I said cuddling up to him a little more.

He was warm. I remember when we used to sleep with each other as kids. It wasn't awkward for me back then but now...it's different. Is it because we went through puberty? Is it because we haven't seen each other in years? I wish I was more comfortable with this position we were in. It's just been so long.

I smiled softly as I closed my eyes. Almost immediately I fell asleep.

I rubbed my eyes as I slowly started to wake up. I was sweating all over. I had a stuffy nose. Still had a scratchy throat. I felt like crap.

"Hey, how you feeling?"

I looked over and saw Denton.

"Like crap...where's the other guys?"

"Out doing what we tried to do like two days ago."

"But aren't we in the same spot? They probably wouldn't have much luck." I said.

He shook his head. "We moved over a bit from where we were last. Zylen carried you. You should've seen his face! He was like a fuckin' tomato! Halarious."

I sat up. Denton almost immediately put his hand against my forehead.

"What are you-"

"You have a fever. Damn, that spider does work." he said.

"Spider?" I asked.

He nodded in response. "You gave us a real fright. I...we thought you were gonna die to be honest."

"You freak me out talking about that stuff. I don't actually want to die." I laughed.

"Yeah..."

We were silent for a bit unsure of what to say next. Great job Denton, talking about that crap.

"You should've been more careful." he said clenching his fists.

"W-well, it was your idea to split up so you should've been more smart about the situation!" I said.

"Y-yeah well..."

He pulled me into his arms. I felt my cheeks heat up. What was he doing?

"I'm just glad your alive. I don't think any of us could live without you."

"C'mon don't joke that!" I said with a laugh.

"Mia, I lo-"

"Oh yeah! Speaking of the guys, let's go look for them!" I said breaking away from the hug.

His whole face was red.

"Haha, is my fever contagious? I wouldn't want to get you sick too." I smiled.

"I-I'm fine! And maybe we should stay here and get some more fish for Muffin. W-we wouldn't want to get lost or anything like that." he said standing up.

"I guess you're right." I sighed standing up.

"Of course I'm right!" he said.

Denton and I ended up getting some more fish for Muffin. Zylen and Hunter came back with some food and were overjoyed to see me. We had a decent dinner along with Muffin who curled up next to Zylen. It was so cute.

As usual, I fell asleep last. But it was nice to just think about things before I fell asleep. But I feel as though my condition has only gotten worse. Just a tad bit though. I might've just overworked myself today. I'll be fine.
