I woke up with someone's arms around my waist. I looked up. I saw Denton's sleeping face. I have to admit he's kinda cute.

I don't want to wake him up. But I also don't want to just stay here. Let's hope he's a heavy sleeper.

I started to slowly move away from him. It was hard to wiggle out from down below. But I finally made it out.

But then I saw a scorpion. Otherwise known as, a bloodthirsty scary looking bug that should cease to exist.

I screamed at the top of my lungs in fear of being stung. I started to try and throw rocks at it but I kept missing. And even though I had shoes on I was sure as hell not stepping on it. Eventually Denton woke up.

"What's wrong?" he asked slowly waking up.

"There's a fucking scorpion!" I yelled with my voice shaking. I continued to try and throw rocks at it. But I missed every time. Then Denton got up and just stepped on it like it was no big deal. I sighed a breath of relief.

"You know you could of done that right?" he asked me.

"I guess. But I got scared. And I'm allergic to them. So I didn't want to get too close." I said.

He chuckled changing the subject. "You were all over me last night."

"No I wasn't!" I denied.

"Really? All cuddled up next to me." he teased.

"Oh yeah? Well, you had your arms around my waist you little perv!" I yelled back.

"So what if I did? You clearly wanted it." he said, his smile getting bigger.

"Yeah, right! I'd never want any of that." I finished.

He just laughed at my response. I guess our arguing woke up Zylen and Hunter.

"Morning guys!" I said changing from my salty attitude.

I decided that I would go for a nice walk. I walked along the water. I admired the view and the sounds of the moving water. I saw something rectangular moving in the water. Two things actually. I ran over it and dragged them to shore. They were suitcases!

I opened up the bigger one and found a bunch of clothes and just a bunch of things that could possibly help us. I closed it back up and looked in the other one.

It was like a survival kit in there! I couldn't believe it! I closed it up and grabbed the suitcases and ran back to where the boys were.

"Look what I found!" I yelled when I got closer. Their faces lit up when they saw what I had brought. Hunter came over and grabbed the bigger suitcase.

"Thanks." I said happily.

"Anytime. Let's open'em up." Hunter said setting it down in front of the guys and me.

We spent a while looking through everything and just thinking how lucky we were.

Two zippo lighters, wool blankets, two pocket knives, mini water filters, two little cooking pots, canned food, a magnifying glass, cigarettes, and....condoms? And a bunch of other stuff as well.

(Author from the future: Hi it's me again. I think I put condoms as one of things in there because I saw some sort of survival hack on Pinterest saying that it's good for putting things in there or something like that I don't really know. But you guys can think of them being used for other purposes if you know what I mean ;) )

"This is great." Denton said.

"Yeah, sure is." Hunter said as Zylen just nodded his head in agreement with Denton.

"And we have some more food too. Nice!" I exclaimed.

"Life just got a fuckload easier." Denton said.

"Thanks to Mia." Hunter said putting the attention on me.

"Seriously? Dang, you're good!" Denton said shocked.

I just smiled. I guess I enjoyed getting praised. Later on we celebrated our findings by sharing two cans of cooked green beans with each other. It was great.

Denton and Zylen ended up falling asleep and so Hunter moved over to me and we both lay down next to each other.

"The sky looks so beautiful tonight." I said looking up.

"Yeah. You know what else looks beautiful?" he asked looking at me.

"What?" I asked looking back at him with a small giggle.

"You." he said.

I felt my face go hot. My palms got sweaty. He ran his fingers through my hair.

"Seriously? I mean, you're not just saying that?" I questioned.

"Why would I lie to you? You truly are beautiful." he complimented.

I just smiled and blushed even more. I wasn't used to this kind of attention. But it was nice to be honest.

I could feel my eyelids grow heavy as I lay my head down on Hunter's shoulder.

"Amelia, I....."

What did he say?

I guess I'll never know because I fell asleep.
