The New Mutant

Chapter 6

Will sits in a seat at the table as the plane gets closer and closer.

"Alright we are here," says Kyle.

Everyone gets up and gets suited into their mutant outfits.

"Haven't been on a mission in a while," Will says to Kyle.

"Me too, it's been so long," he says.

They all exit the plane onto the street where everyone is running a certain direction.

"Mike and I will make sure everyone gets to safety. The rest of you go the opposite way to see what it is," says Kyle.

Kyle gets on Mikes back and they sprint off.

"Come on," says Jace as the rest of them go the opposite way where everyone else is going. They get to the end and see a robot attacking a building. The robot is about seven feet tall and has machetes coming out of its arms.

"What the heck!" Exclaims Nicki.

The robot looks at them.

"Mutants," the robot says.

"Oh shit," says Jace.

The robot shoots a laser at them but they all dodge it. Will runs towards the robot and throws a fire ball at it.

The robot ducks from it and slices Will slightly in the face making him fall to the ground.

Jace shoots water at it and the robot flies against the building. Janet shouts ice at him and one arm freezes against the building. The robot tries to get his arm out but nothing.

"There we go," says Nicki. Then all the sudden someone grab her by the hair pushing her to the ground.

"It won't be that easy," the girl says.

Nicki gets up and kicks the girl in the stomach. Will runs to help her but then something gets ahold of his feet. He looks down to see dirt surrounding him.

"What is this!" Exclaims Will.

"Just a little something of mine," says a guy waking up to him.

"Who are you?" Asks Will.

"I'm Ty," he says, "Hello Will."

"How do you know me?" He says.

"You'll find out sooner or later," he says walking away.

Will looks over and sees Ty punching Jace in the face. He girl puts a hand to Nicki's head and Nicki's eyes turn red. The girl lets go and walks away. Nicki falls to the ground.

The girl runs towards Janet but she turns into diamond and punches Amber making her to flying. Ty runs towards Janet and branches come out of the road and go straight for Janet. It ties her up and pulls her to the ground.

"Stop!" Yells Will throwing a fire ball at Ty.

He dodges it. Will burns the dirt from his feet and charges towards Ty and the girl. As he runs another robot punches Will sending him to the ground.

"Let's go Amber," Ty says. They go into a plane and fly away.

Will gets up in pain.

"Will are you okay?" Asks Janet running towards him.

"Yeah I'm fine," he says.

"They got away," says Jace getting up in pain.

"He knew my name," says Will.

"What do you mean?" Asks Janet.

"He knew my name was Will and I asked him how he knew it," he says.

"Did he answer?" Asks Janet.

"He just said that I will find out sooner or later," says Will.

"Guys come here," says Jace.

Will and Janet walk over seeing Nicki on the ground. Her eyes are red and she sits there still.

"What's wrong with her?" Asks Will.

"No idea," says Jace picking her up, "But we must take her back to the mansion."

"Must of been that Amber girl," says Janet.

"Also something else seems weird," says Jace.

"What's weird?" Asks Will.

"This is like Lexi's dream," says Jace, "The robots the guy and girl and everything."
