*Stefan POV*

"Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I have an apartment downtown, if anyone needs to use it. I'm also here again so I'll probably come over sometime soon"
"Alright, thanks Peter. Bye" I hang up the phone and Damon and Lydia look to me with wonder.
"Peter has his own apartment downtown now. He said he'd come by to visit and stuff later. It also means that his room isn't his anymore and that he will be here when Madalynn is here" I tell them all.
"Well why don't we give Madalynn his room? She's already sleeping in it, and has been" Lydia suggests. I nod and look to Damon. Damon and I own this house, anything to do with this house has to be agreed upon with both of us. That's how people got to live here. "We can go up there right now. Lydia, you do know that your brother is sleeping in there with her right?" I ask. She makes a face, raising her eyebrows. She looks shocked but amused. "I know that look" Damon smiles at her. She scuffs at him and goes past both of us, going upstairs and into the room she now knows as Madalynn's.

*Madalynn's POV*

"Madalynn" Stefan says, quietly. It's almost like he's finding this funny to wake me up. I look around and shake my head, annoyed at the fact that they're in here when I'm trying to sleep.
"What are you guys doing in here?" I ask, groaning at the sight of them at the end of my bed.
"I'm here to get my brother" Lydia says. She takes his arm and pulls it. It does nothing which makes me smile and it makes Stefan and Damon laugh. "Help me!" she yells. Damon comes over and grabs Tyler's arm, making him fly onto the floor with a thud. "I think this is the first time I've ever liked you" Lydia admits before looking to a tired Tyler. "Get up. Who do you think you are? You cannot just sleep with girls" Lydia goes on and on as she pushes Tyler out of the room. It makes me laugh a little. I love how protective Lydia is over Tyler and how Tyler is protective over Lydia. It reminds me of Jake.

"So I assume that since you've been sleeping in here for a few days that you want this room" Stefan smiles.
"Since the owner of this room got his own apartment, this is your room now" Damon gives me a fake smile.
"Well, if this is my room" I say looking to the two of them. I flop down and pretend to be sleeping again. "Get out" I groan, once I notice that they're still in the room. "You know what, never mind. Now I'm up" I close my eyes and get out of the bed. "Where is everyone?" I ask "Scott and Caroline went out for breakfast" Stefan informs me. "Jordan went to work, Theo left early this morning, and Hayley is at the Mikaelson's" Stefan gives me a few more people. "Everyone else is asleep" Stefan tells me. I nod and sigh.
"I want to design this room" I tell him.
"We can do it today if you want. We have nothing better to do" Stefan smiles. I give him a smile back and nod. I've been wishing for a day where I can do something that doesn't involve me being attacked or needing protection. "When everyone wakes up, I'll ask if they want to help. Are we just putting your stuff from downstairs up here and unpacking?" Stefan asks. I nod because that was my plan. He gives me a small smile before the closing the door to my new room.

I open the door a few minutes later with the same shorts I had on when I woke up but now I have a sweatshirt on. I see Tyler, Lydia, Stefan, and Damon all standing down there as if they were waiting for me. Elena comes down the stairs and Damon smiles at her.
"Morning" she smiles.

"Alright. Time to help Madalynn decorate her new room, now that everyone is awake and here" Stefan announces. "So I guess I'll call names and if you can't you'll tell me what you're doing all day so that we know where to find you, if we need to" Stefan adds.
"We've been a little preoccupied to do that lately but it's the rules" Damon says. I understand their rules, they need to know so that everyone is protected and safe. We don't want to lose anyone. "Ella" Stefan calls. Ella nods and smiles saying that she'll help today. "Scott"
"Actually, Caroline and I are going out today" Scott informs him.
"When will you be back?" Damon asks
"I don't know, three?" Scott questions himself. Damon nods and Stefan writes it down.
