The Forgotten God

Chapter 1: Rebirth

I felt like I was asleep for a long time, But when I woke up, I was in the hands of a lady named Mare. She had long black silky hair and a very mature, loving appearance. I figured I was just a baby when I found out that I had small arms and legs, so I couldn't do much movement, but I am sure this growth would go by quickly so I didn't complain.

Every day felt like months passing by when I was awake so I mostly used my time to sleep, most of the time I am awake this lady would sing me a song or play with me, so it was probably obvious that I was in her care for the time being. When I had grown to be about 4 years old I looked different from the lady, having seen myself through the reflection of a nearby river in the caverns I had eyes that were oddly purple, black hair, and fingers that had long nails on them, I also had Sharp teeth, I would ask the lady about why I look different from her but I decided to stay quiet for the time being. I was excited to explore the world I was in, and in the cave-like house that I am currently in was filled with tunnels, and had books and many things I can study to understand this world much more. And Mare, my mother, called me Dastin.

In the cave that I was raised in had many tunnels and many areas, there was also a Swamp-forest like area with Trees that ascended great heights. But I was told never to wander off near that area, so I had always stood staring afar from the entrance of the caves. The caves had holes in the ceiling so its not completely dark and we had many torches lit up around where we lived, but even with the torches, My supposed mother told me which caves never to enter because of the monsters that lurked around there were dangerous.

After many days and months had passed, I found out that this world was called "Erisar", and this world currently has 3 empires and 4 kingdoms throughout the 3 regions from reading the books in the cave house.

There isn't much details about the other regions, but the one I am in which is the 2nd region Qualis, has only 2 kingdoms called Uslan, and Fargand. Usland was a kingdom that was to the far bottom left of the region near the Black ocean, and Fargand was more closer to the center. In this region there is apparently a total of 5 great cities.

While the Kingdoms are apart from each other, they are in some kind of contract, which would mean no war. The rest of the books had useless information that I don't need, so I just left the rest of the books unread. All the other stuff that I did were things like learning how to fish and how to make small traps, but the other things that I was reading about was just boring so I'll leave those for later.

Whenever it became too dark outside, Me and Mare would head back to our small cave, and as we always did, I always had questions about how the world is and whatnot, and she tells me many things that there are in this place and tells me some things I already know, but I stood quiet about them.

Learning about this world I found that there are much more things then Back from where I actually came from, Like magic, monsters, Heroes and villains, and even mortal gods. It all adds up to the reason I met a god in darkness. Being told all of this surprised me quite a lot, but if I'm here, then how do I get back? I kept questioning myself that but I never thought of a way how.

With all the info I was told on, I was mostly interested in magic and how it would function, but sadly there isn't much information on them, and the people who can use magic are magicians that were trained since birth. Another thing I had interest in, were the races of people that lived in this world. There are apparently 5 races that I know of, which are: Human, Beast-men, Ronarks, elves, and lastly Daemons. There isn't much details about Ronarks, But they say that they use illusions to steer clear from people. Beast-men are... well... men that look like beasts. Elves are pointy eared people, that live surrounded by nature (which is obvious). And Daemons are those that live near a place called "The great pit" but not many people go there and many people that do never come back. There is a lot of info that I need to catch up on, but many things are useless to know like the other lesser races or Demons that exist.
