Chapter 11: In between

It's been weeks since we went to Diorus's house, I was being taught about Sphial and how to control it, he had taught me many things, and I have improved greatly with the power I had, by then I had already learned about how to absorb energetic pulses and materialize Sphial as an energy wave. By the way, Absorbing Energy from physical objects and Absorbing Sphial are two different things. 

The difference in between Sphial and Energetic pulses are very different in effect to how much or where you absorb it from. As Sphial has no limit to how much you absorb the effect of Sphial takes time with practice, But for Energetic pulses, your energy increases the more you use it. That is to say that if I were to absorb 2 orbs, Learning how to control my power would become difficult, but if I practice with Sphial, not only would I get better at control, I would also get stronger at a very monstrous pace, I could become more powerful in 3 weeks, then in a year.

Other then that I had many other things with the elements, I am able to control electricity and ice much more better then the rest of all the other elements, I can materialize ice or electricity in a split second. Notice that its not the same with every other element, while fire takes me 2 seconds now, and for earth it takes me 10 seconds, for water it takes 12, as for Air it takes me 1 second. 

I can mix up elements for example electricity and water, now that would take me a bit since water is the most hardest to control, However if it was Ice and electricity, I could force ice to have an electrical aspect to its touch, stunning animals or anything that touches the ice. Just as simple as that. 

I also want to mention that I was taught telekinesis, even though its a bit harder then the other things, the most easiest way to use telekinesis is by energy waves, like air, this is a bit easier, but its harder to control the output of energy.

And as Sapphire was also with me, while I practice many other things alone, she would learn how to speak and talk with the old man. She already knows how to speak properly, but she has a bit of a difficult tongue, she can't pronounce some words perfectly. I don't care though.

Now onto the day that I have just woke up to.

I woke up with the sunlight shining on my face, and Sapphire would normally be sleeping on top of my arm, hurting it so, but Sapphire was no where to be found. 

I woke up starting to hear lots of people outside, like a crowd in a festival. As I got up and strapped on my leather boots and put on a white shirt I had lying around, I already had pants, I quickly checked on my stuff under a wooden plank beneath the bed. I was reassured that my things were not stolen from anyone. I quickly put everything back in its place and walked out the room.

When I had exited the inn and out the streets, everyone was cheering while a carriage was in the center of the road, it was like a parade of sorts if it were to be compared to my original world, I didn't know what it was about but it looked as though a noble has entered this city and seems to be coming this way.

I was looking around and I quickly found Sapphire, she was behind most of the people right beside the inn lady Flora. 

I walked towards her and noticed someone was aiming an arrow at her from a window on the opposite side of the streets, I don't know how the hell I saw that, but out of instinct I rushed to her without any thought of anyone around. 

Just as the arrow almost hit Sapphire I was able to push her down before she was hurt. 

I was on top of her, She was knocked unconscious and I saw that she got a small cut on her arm from the sharp iron tip of the arrow. 

As I quickly got up from Sapphire, I heard people were gasping and the place grew quiet. I looked around as the people look straight at my way, I was thinking what I did that stopped everyone to look at me, then figuring about what had happened the inn lady was shot with an arrow straight to the gut.
