One of my favourite Sleeping With Sirens songs is blasting through the radio, and I can't help but sing and dance along to it. One of the many things I like about living on my own; Nobody can hear it.

Whilst walking into the kitchen to check if my pizza is ready yet, I dry my hair and let the long brown curls fall down on my back. I've always adored long and hot showers. Someone's knocking on the door causes me to stop singing along to the music, Which dissapoints me, because it was going really well for once! Curious, I walk towards the front door and open it.

'What are you doing here?!'  I ask him, jaw almost dropping.  'Hello to you too, sweetheart.'  I sigh, what's the point of coming around, if the only thing he does is being an arrogant boy again?

'No seriously Calum, what are you doing here?' I snap, not too excited about his presence.  'Can i come in and explain it please?'   I frown at him, not sure whether  I should trust him, or not.

'let me talk, and explain why I acted like a girl on her period, please.'  he says, blushing slightly and looking down at his feet. I bite my lip, trying to hold back some laughter at how cute this boy actually is. I open the door a bit more, and step back to let him in. 'come in then, sure you don't need tampons though?'  I wink, which makes him laugh.  Finally, we can laugh again.

Calum takes a deep breathe in, before starting to talk.  'Okay, look. You probably didn't know but I had a girlfriend, and when i went to her house last week to visit her because she was ill, I caught her cheating on me...'  He says, then staying quiet for a bit, before concentrating on what he was telling me again. 'And this morning, she showed up at my door saying how 'sorry she was', but she also told me that it was actually my fault, because I was to childish and boring.  that kind of caused me to be in a really bad mood today. And I know that isn't a good excuse because you really are a sweetheart and I had no right to act like that, but I'm sorry, really I am Eloise.'

I sigh, not knowing what to say, or what do to. Even if he was childish and boring, she had no right to cheat on him! Let alone the fact that Calum's a great boy. Well, he seems like one.  'Cal, I'm so sorry.'  I whisper, pulling him closer into a hug. I'm not really a person to hug someone who I barely know, because hugging means caring and loving, and of course I care about him, but I don't want to get close to him. Not that he isn't worth it, but I've been through way too many things to trust people again.  He needs a hug right now, so let's not be heartless and embrace him, Eloise.

He slowly pulls away and smiles.  'Thanks. I hope you forgive me though?'  I nod at him before getting up.  'you want a drink or something?'  I ask, realising I didn't ask that question when he stepped into my house.  'yes, please.'    I walk into the kitchen, getting a drink for the both of us, when I hear a phone ring. It's not mine, so it must be Calum's.  I try to carry on with doing what I was doing, because I feel rude when I listen to someone's conversation, so I take two glasses out of the cupboard and walk back to the table.  too bad.

'ouch!' I fall down to the floor, landing with my arm on top of the Thousand pieces of the now broken glasses.  Luckily, Calum who must've heard me falling, comes running into the kitchen immediately and kneels down beside me. 'woah what happened?!' with a worried look, his eyes meet mine and he gently holds my hand, looking down at my elbow which is covered in blood. 'broken glasses, blood, me on the floor. what do you think that happened Cal?'  I ask in a sarcastic tone, chuckling a bit. 'I'm sorry... let me help you.'
