'Morning.' Luke groans as he drops himself on the couch and small chuckle leaves my mouth.

'Morning Lucas. It's 2pm. though.'

We share the next moments in silence, except from a few sighs and groans coming from Luke's side as he almost falls asleep every ten seconds. He then looks around, probably only just noticing where he is and who aren't here.

'I took you home after the party last night, which you probably can't remember.'

He looks at me confused. 'Where are the others?'

'Ashton and Vera went to look after the other boys this morning.'

He sighs, again.

'You shouldn't have drunk that much.' My eyes look up, hoping to meet Luke's, but he avoids my gaze and gets up instead.

'Look, Luke. It's not my problem you're feeling sick now because of the hangover and I don't even care to be honest, but don't start ignoring me, you know I hate it when people do that.' And with that, he turns around and finally faces me.

'The thing is Eloise, you're just annoying me so much sometimes! I am completely okay with it, that you don't enjoy things and even with the fact you use and hurt people, but let me enjoy things I want to enjoy please?'

'What do you mean?'

'You walk around telling people how rough your life is. you kiss my best friend and make him go crazy and then the next moment you simply tell him you don't want him. You think you've got control over everything, but you can't just play everyone's boss! If I want to drink until I can't walk straight anymore, than let me. You are not my mother!'

That's when a tear escapes my eye and rolls down my cheek. 'shut up, Luke.'

I want to open my mouth again, to tell him his words aren't true and that he doesn't understand a thing, but I dont. Instead, I take a deep breath in and get up.

'Yeah, let's run away like you always do!' Luke shouts, just before I close the front door behind me. And I might just do what he said, run away.

-

I run, and run, and run. But running away from the things that are in your mind, will never work. Luke was right. He could've said it in a different way which wouldn't have hurt me that much, but he was right. Then the name Calum comes into my mind. Because, are there any moments left where I don't think about him? I decide to take the bus, to the one place I feel happy, The place he took me to; the sea.

I walk over the small rocks covering the hard ground, the small path which is ruined by people's feet, and wonder how it's always silent here. And after a long walk, I secretly hope that Calum would be here, running a hand through his hair which gets messed up by the wind again, asking me if I want him to carry me, because I can't stop complaining about how my feet hurt. But as I look around, I realize that I'm alone. I tell myself I don't deserve him, because as Luke said; I go from yes to no and back to yes, all the time. Then a chuckle leaves my mouth, because I actually can't believe he hasn't ran away from me yet. Maybe he hasn't because his words were honest, maybe he does really love me. Even though I don't know how and why, because there's nothing special in me, but he apparently thinks otherwise.

Vera's POV

'I regret having that party already.' Ashton giggles, sitting down next to me on the rather comfortable couch as he wraps an arm around my body.

'I'm so tired.' I sigh along with him. Our hangovers aren't as awful as Michael's, but still, I feel like a dying cat. Ashton suggests to watch a film, and I nod at him because I know I'm not going to do a thing today anyway.

We're enjoying the film, both almost falling asleep, when there's a knock on the door. 'I'll get it.'

In front of me, Luke is standing, looking quite desperate. 'Eloise is gone!'

I look at him confused. 'what do you mean she's gone?' By this time, Luke walks into the living room and stops in front of Ashton, who's now fully awake.

'We kind of got into a fight, and then she left the house but she still isn't back and I was hoping she was here but she isn't and she won't pick up her phone, it's my fault!' He says, and in the same breath, he mumbles some other things which are unable for me to hear or understand.

'I know where she is, I think.' Calum whispers, leaning against the door he just walked through. We all look up at him, waiting for him to continue, which he does after a minute of silence.

'Ash, can you drive?'

I interrupt. 'WHERE IS SHE?!'

'A place I took her to a while ago. Don't worry, she'll be fine. I just need Ashton to drive because if I go by bus, it will take too long.'
