Chapter sixteen

'Well noone did at my old school' I told him. 'Well you're in Cheshire now' he laughed. I gave him a little smile before he leant down and gave me a little peck. 

Harry stayed for dinner then came up to my room. 'Sorry Harry, but I need to talk to phoebe' my mum said coming into the room. 'Ok' he said politely. I walked him to the front door and gave him a tight hug. 'Bye' he whispered into my ear. He gave me a little peck on the cheek before leaving.

'So what did you want to talk about?' I asked my mum as I walked into the room. 'This' she said holding up my phone. I gulped before looking back at her. 'What you saw, wasn't what it looked like' she said. 'Really? Then what was it?' I asked. 'I-I' she stuttered. I gave her a look before grabbing my phone out of her hand. 'Phoebe' she high pitchily said. I looked at her then walked out of the room. 'Phoebe come here' she shouted for me as I walked upstairs. As I was nearly at the top I heard the door open. 'Phoebe is that you?' He asked. 'Yeah' I said walking back down. 'Fancy going out saturday with me and ollie?' He asked. I nodded 'yeah' I said giving him a tight hug.

Later on in the evening my mum came in and sat on the end of my bed. 'Phoebe.. You've got to understand' she said looking at me. 'What? What do I have to understand. You cheated on my dad' I said. 'Sh' she whispered looking at the door. 'Please.. It's not like it used to be' she said. 'Since we've been here I've been so lonely' she said. 'You've got us' I said. 'It's not the same' she said. 'Your dad and I were so close and now his never home' she said. I was about to say something when ollie came in. 'She knows I know' I said looking at him. 'He knew too?' She said. I nodded before I signalled ollie to come over. 'Please don't tell your dad' she pleaded. I looked at ollie then at her. 'Why shouldn't we tell him?' He said, raising his eyebrow. 'Because it- it will break his heart' she said. He looked at me then at her. 'Are you still seeing him?' He asked. 'No no of course not. Just the once' she said. 'How did you meet' I asked. 'At a cafe' she said. Me and ollie looked at eachother before looking at her. 'Ok' we said in unison.

'Do you believe her?' I asked ollie when she left. 'I dunno' he shrugged. I did a little nod before going back onto my phone. 'What do you think of that Courtney chick?' He asked randomly. 'The bimbo?' I asked. 'Shes not a bimbo' he defended her. 'Yeah ok then' I sarcastically replied. 'She probably doesn't even know woman animals have periods' i laughed. 'True' he laughed. 'Well it's up to you' I shrugged. 'She is pretty' I added, a little smile formed on his face. 'Why?' I asked. 'Well I was thinking of asking her out?' He said. 'Hm... If you want' I shrugged. 'This Saturday?' He questioned. 'Dads taking us out' I told him. 'Friday night?'. I nodded. 'Yeah sounds good, when are you asking her?' I asked. 'Now' he said while typing on his phone.

'Morning' Harry said, leaning against the front wall. I gave him a little kiss before taking his hand. 'So your brother asked out Courtney' he chuckled. 'Yeah, how did you know?' I asked looking up at him. 'Well her friend tweeted your so lucky or something then it kinda exulted from there' he began. 'I kinda figured it out' he laughed. 'Oh right' I said.

'Hey' Rachel said to me running over to me when me and Harry walked in. 'Hi' I smiled. She dragged me off to the lockers not even giving me a chance to say hi to jas and the others.

At lunch I told Harry not to wait up for me after school because mr stent wanted to see me. Luckily he had a detention anyways, so it wouldn't matter.

'Come on then' mr stent signalling me to start singing. 'I can't I said a little hopelessly. 'Yes you can' he smiled. 'Sing a song you absolutely love. 'Ive got the magic in me' I started to sing, closing my eyes.
