Chapter 6: Strangerrs

-6 Months Later-

It had been 6 months since the whole drama thing at Calums house. None of us had spoke since, apart from me and Megan obviously. I had to go round her house almost every day since she got so paranoid that she was going to get raped again. See this is why I hate Racheal, she's like a boomerang, once you think you've got rid of her, she comes back around again and slaps you in the face. 

It was a shame that we hadn't spoken to the boys since, because they were all really great guys to hang around with, plus Megan and Ashton were really close. She told me about their kiss backstage before the concert. I couldn't see them getting together now.

Currently, i was out shopping for food for the rest of the week. It was a really warm day so i was wearing some ombre shorts and a cute coca-cola crop top. God knows why i was wearing it because i dont really like coke. I had my hair in a fish tale braid and some sun-glasses, and wore some flip-flops on my feet. I had come across the pizza section and was choosing between either Margaritta or Pesto and Pepper pizza, the're was only one Pesto and pepper left so i thought i might as well get both of them. I reached my hand in to get the Pesto Pizza, only to find that someone else had gone in for the same one too. To my supprise, i looked up into the eyes of Calum, staring back down at mine. He gave me a big grin, as he discovered that it was me.

"Brooke! Omg its been ages!" He grinned. He had changed alot over the past 6 months. His cheek bones were really defined and his hair had been cut into a cute quiff, which you couldnt see very well as he was wearing a red beany, unlike how it was when i last saw him, where he had long hair that grew past his ears. My eyes wandred down to his lips, where i saw something glinting in the corner. Was that a lip piercing? It definatly made him a lot sexier.

"Erm, yeahh, long time no see stranger!" I laughed. He smiled again, and i realised that that had changed too. It was somehow more cute and made his whole face light up. I felt a funny feeling in the pit of my stomach, but quickly snapped out of it. I shouldn't be feeling like this, besides, maybe i was just hungry.

"So..you want this pizza?" He said, holding it out to me. I saw a hint of his muscular arms creep out from his t-shirt sleeve as he did so. Someone's been working out.

"No, go on you have it, i'll just stick to my cheese" I said, picking up a margaritta pizza. "So you like Pesto and Pepper pizza? I thought it was just me!" I laughed.

"Actually, i've never tried it, this pizza's for Racheal." He said. Then i remembred. Me and Racheal used to eat Pesto and Pepper Pizza all the time, it was her all time favourite, she was the one who got me into it. A wave of disapointment crept over my face as he said her name.

"So you're still together then?" I asked, trying to sound enthusiastic.

"Yeahh" he replied. I could tell there was something wrong though. It was just the way he said it, like he was fed up. 

"Whats up?" I asked, sounding worried. I looked into his chocolate eyes, and could see the hurt in them. Something was definatly wrong, and i had a funny feeling it was to do with Racheal. He opened his mouth to tell me, but then closed it quickly. Then shook his head, saying no.

"Look, i have to go, but text me sometime, it would be nice to hang out again" He smiled weakly. "And i know Ash wants to see Megan" 

"Yeah definatly! I've missed you boys!" I said, then looked Calum in the eyes so he knew that i meant what i was going to say. "And Calum..im always here if you need me" I smiled, and he nodded back and gave me a massive bear hug. His cologne filled up my nostrils, but i loved it, it reminded me of him.Then he pulled away

"Thanks Brooke" He smiled. I could still see the sorrow in his eyes. "See ya" I gave him a quick smile and waved good-bye and went to pay for my Pizza, still smelling of Calum. The strange thing was, i absaloutly loved it. I knew i shouldn't be feeling like this, but i couldn't help it. The boy was darn cute
