We arrived at my house at 6am, so my Dad wasnt home yet which was good, since he'd flip if he found out i had a boy round. I led Calum up to my room, making my bed quickly. He went and sat on my desk chair and stared at me.
"I''ve just realised, you never speak about your family" He stated
"Ahh, see thats what i wanted to speak to you about" I sighed and reached for my desk draw and pulled out a photo book. I opened it to the page of my favouirte picture of my Mother. "This is my Mum, Ella" I said pointing to her. I loved this photo because she was so happy, well we all did.
"She's beautiful..you look just like her" He said, smiling at me. He threw his arm over my shoulders as he leaned in to get a closer look.
"Loads of people said that..." I tried to hold back the tears. "Can i trust you with something?"
"Of course!" He took hold of my hands and stared into my eyes to say he meant it.
"Well, after i went through the whole depressive stage of getting over Charlie, Mum decided that she had enough of the Family. Herself and my Dad always rowed and it was at breaking point for them. When i got depression, it tipped them over the edge and she moved away. I haven't heard of her since, I mean i have no idea where she is" I cried. Calum pulled me in for a hug and kissed the top of my head. "Its all my fault Calum..they wouldn't have broke up if it wasn't for me"
"Shhh shhh, dont say that, it wasn't your fault" He rubbed my arm lightly which calmed me down. I'd never told anyone this apart from Megan and Calum. I have to say it felt good finally getting it out. "Look at me Brooke." He pulled my chin up, so my eyes were directly infront of his. "You are a wonderful person, no-one deserves to go through what you've been through. You shoudn't blame yourself, because you've done nothing wrong okay?" I nodded in response. "Brooke, im here for you okay?" And then he leaned in, like he was going to kiss me, but i wasn't too sure if he was. He seemed unsure of what he was doing. He was just milimetres from my lips before he turned his head and kissed my cheek lightly.
And that was the day i knew that I had fallen for Calum
