-Megans P.O.V-
I was laying on the sofa when Ashton came back, thinking of ways to tell him that I know. I know his dirty little secret. He came through the door with his heavenly smirk on, his hair all messy just the way I liked it. I still liked him. Just he didn't like me.
"Hey Megs, y'alrite, your looking kinda pale" He said kneeling down beside me on the sofa. His eyes melted into mine, and for a moment I forgot why I was ever angry at Ashton Irwin. Then he noticed his phone in my hand and it came back to me. "Ah there's my phone! I was looking for that aha!" He chuckled then a confused look over took his defined face. "Wait, Megs, please tell me you haven't gone on my phone..." He said, almost a hint of anger came with his voice, but it was more worry. I just stayed there staring at him, taking in if Ashton, my Ashton would really do such a thing. But the text messages proved it. He was seeing someone else. He was not mine anymore.
"Are you bored of me Ashton" I said, questioning him. The anger pored out into my face, raising my eye brows, my face becoming stern. He lowered his eye brows, taken back by my strange question. "I mean, is one person not enough for you...do you need two people to make you happy?" I said, patronising him. It took him a few seconds to work out what I meant, but it soon hit him.
"No, no, no megs you've got it all wrong I-"
"No Ashton, that's what they all say, making up excuses, but im not listening ok"
"No megan, you seriously have it all wrong, its not-"
"Not how it looks, I get it." I said, tears welling up in my eyes. "I thought you were different Ashton." I said, breathing deeply as he took a step forward, inches away from me now. "I thought-" He cut me off by putting his finger to my lips.
"Megan, listen to me...I wanted this to be special, a surprise- well I guess it kinda is coz you have no idea what im about to say.." He knelt down on one knee. "Megan.." Oh god he wasn't proposing was he? I was not ready to marry someone. "Megan look at me and stop staring at that wall thinking of ways to turn me down" He chuckled, looking into my eyes. "I am not proposing don't worry" He stopped and pulled out a small box. "However, I do want to spend the rest of my life with you, and I want you to know that.." He opened the box and showed a shiny thing to me. A ring. A beautiful ring. "This ring means that I want to marry you one day, and that while im in England, the ring will remind you that you are mine and I am yours, and how much I love you. Because I really do love you so much. I will never ever cheat on you, not even if my life depended on it" He stood up and walked towards me. "So Megan, will you promise to always be mine?" He said as tears streamed from my face. I nodded as he put the ring on my finger. I couldn't speak. All I could do was look and the ring, then Ashton then cry. I looked at Ashtons face, taking in all what he had just said.
I had found my prince.
