Beep Beep Beep Beep
I awoke to the beautiful sound of my phone vibrating against my chest of draws, which was not the best thing to hear when you went to bed at 2am that night. I had got back late from Megans since she got some new movie on DVD that she wanted to watch. It turned out that it was a pretty epic film actually, i think it was called The Avengers, but im not to sure since Megan wouldn't let me hold the case incase i dropped or scartched it. Yeah she was sure protective over her DVD's.
Deciding that i shouldn't ignore whoever this person was that was ringing me, i reached over and unlocked my phone, discovering that i had 3 missed calls from Megan and 2 from Calum. It was strange seeing the name 'Pizzaboii' on the screen. I hadnt text him since the night we saw them in concert.
Suddenly i was distracted from my thoughts by my phone buzzing again. I looked down to see that yet again Calum was ringing me. I wonder what he wanted, i mean he's called me 3 times it must be important.
"Helloo!" I answered in a nervous tone. I didn't even know why i was nervous, i mean, it was just Calum right?
"Hey, Brooke! You Finally answered!" He exclaimed, sounding relieved that i picked up
"Yeah, sorry about that, i had a late night last night!" I said, smiling even though he couldnt see me.
"Awh, well at least your awake..Look, i was wondering if you wanted to meet up today? i kinda need someone to talk to" He said. I couldn't help but notice the nervousness in his tone. Like he was embarrased to talk to me.
"Yeah sure! Where?" I asked
"Urm, do you know the River by Goldparks??" He answered
"Yeahh! I know where you mean! I'll meet you there in half an hour?" I asked, kindly.
"Yeah yeah thats fine! Listen, shall i bring Ash, and if you bring Megan then we can kinda set them up abit? I know Ash has been missing her, anyone can tell he really likes her" He laughed.
"OMG yes, we're like Matchmakers! Meg doesn't really stop going on about Ashton! She misses him, plus i'll be nice to see them together"
"I know! Okay, so half an hour, by the river okay?" He asked
"Yep" I replied, popping the p. "Bye bye Pizzaboii!!" I joked
"hhahhaha, very funny" He said sarcastically. "And thank you Brooke" And with that he hung up.

After 10 minutes of convincing Megan to come with me, she finally agreed to see Ashton again. Currently we were walking along the river trying to spot the boys. I could tell Megan felt insecure. She kept fiddling with her hair, and cheaking her make-up in the mirror. She didn't need to though, she looked georgeous. Her hair was natural and she was only wearing a tiny bit of make-up. Thats what i love about her, she doesn't need make up to look pretty and she knows it. She suddenly became more alert when she noticed Ashton and Calum walking towards us, both with big grins on their faces.
Ashton was wearing some jeans and a singlet that had their band logo on it, which he totally rocked. His hair had changed to. From his straightend swoopp to his natural hair, all curly and amazing. I could tell why Meg liked him, and they looked perfect together. Then i saw Calum, wearing a baggy t-shirt and some basketball shorts. I liked the fact that he didnt really dress up for anything. You dont see him walking around wearing 'hollister' or 'jack wills'. He just wore what he liked.
"Hey Girls!" Calum first said, breaking the tension that was between Ashton and Megan.
"Hi Calum!" Megan said, and turned her head awkwardly to smile at Ashton. "Hey Ashton" She said weakly, you could see you was nervous. I gave Calum a wink as he gave me a cheeky smirk back, as we started our plan.
"So Brooke, can you come with me to get some ice-cream? I need help carrying it back here" Calum said pointing over to an ice-cream van in the far distance. I nodded
"Wait, i'll come with you yeahh?" Megan insistid
"No, no, just Brooke will be fine, plus you have Ashton here" Calum said, trying to stop himself from laughing, as he mouthed 'go' to me, indicating that we run off leaving them two alone.
So there we were running to the ice-cream van, in fits of giggles, hoping our plan was working. I quikley looked behind to see if Meg was following or not, but she wasn't, so it all planned out ok. I was running out of breath, so Calum stopped and walked over to a hedge and sat down by it. He was breathing heavily to, as we both tried to catch our breath.
"I guess your as unhealthy as me then" He said, panting.
"No, your just fat" I joked, pinching his skin. Or not I thought as I felt his abs underneath his t-shirt. Why was this boy making me fall for me even more. I mean what is there not to like? He looked up into my eyes and gave me a cheeky grin.
"So erm, what's up with you?" I asked, remembering that he asked to chat to me before.
"Well, Im good, the bands doing really well now, what about you?" He replied, trying to distract me from what I really wanted to know.
"No Calum, what's up, up?" I said, looking into his eyes, letting him know I was here to listen. He gave a long sigh and laid down on the grass.
"Its Racheal, she's just being..off with me. I try and impress her but she doesn't have any of it. That's why I bought her the pizza yesterday, and I bought her flowers too. But she just doesn't care" He said, breathing out
Well that's Racheal for you. But I wouldn't tell him that. He obviously liked her.
"Look Calum, this is what girls are like, she's probably on her period or something..its just a phase!" I said, trying to sound convincing even though it wasn't the case. Obviosuly it didn't work for him, because he gave me a serious look as if to say ' I don't believe you'
"Tell me the truth Brooke, I know you want to say something else..your not a very good actress" He said, smirking at the end.
"Urgh, fine, you wanna know what I think?" He nodded. "I think she's just using you. If she really liked you she wouldn't be such a bitch to you. Your the kindest person so I don't see why she has a reason to be annoyed with you, I mean you haven't done anything wrong right?"
"Not that I know of"
"Exactly..so I say you confront her, you go up to her and you ask her why she's being such a bitch, okay?" I cried
"Okay, yeah maybe I should..your right, thanks Brooke!" He smirked, sounding more confident. I gave him a weak smile. He put his thumb on my cheek and rubbed circles, smiling at me, then gave me a quick kiss on my left cheek. And I felt something amazing. I didn't even feel this when I was going out with Charlie, plus this kiss didn't mean anything. All I know was that I was falling for Calum Hood.
