Noragami: hiyori and yato fanfiction

Chapter six

Yato set Hiyori on the couch gently and pulled a cover over her. He looked at her with so much sadness. Softly he brushes her hair out of her face. The god then sits down next to her and rests his head on her chest. Listening to her breathing.

"Hiyori... I'm so sorry." Tears were flowing uncontrollably down his face.

"Yato... What's going on?" It was Yukine.

Yato just stared at his regalia. Then he watches Kofuka and Diakoku stand behind Yuki.

"I'm sorry..." Yato finally says.

"I'm confused... Why are you crying?" Kofuka asks.

They walk up closer to see Hiyori laying  down in the couch.

"Yato.... Where is her clothes?!" Yukine yells.

"It's not like that!"

"Then what is it?"

Then the god sobs. Yukine glances over to the girl he loves and see the same writing that on him, saying he was Yato's regalia. He was confused then, "why does she have that symbol on her?"

Yato stayed quiet. He didn't know how to tell them all.

"Yato...." It was Hiyori's voice. Her eyes were open, "why are you crying?" She cups his face and sits up. Uncovering her breasts.

Yukine and Yato stands there in awe.

"Don't look Diakoku!" Kofuka yells covering his eyes.

"Who... Who are all of you? Are you fiends of Yato?" Hiyori asks completely oblivious to what just happened.

"You should lay back down!" Yato yells as he pushes her back and covers her up.

"Oh..." She grabs the blanket and pulls it up, her cheeks turning red.

"You don't remember us but, you remember him?" Yukine asks her.

"Hey! What is that supposed to me?" Yato said angrily.

"Let your mind go wild!"

They start calling each other names and Yato pulls yuki's hair as he tries to push the god away from him.

Hiyori just sits there watching them. Waiting for them to be done. When they are they look back at her.

"What happened Yato? Why can't she remember us?" Yukine says.

"Nora must've had a pretty good plan. Bishomon got involved, someone must've told her about Hiyori. She came after her.... And..." Yato buries his hands in his hair.

"And what?"

"She killed Hiyori... And somehow even though she's half phantom, she could be a regalia. So, that's what I did. That's why she's here... I saw her... Her real body...." The god broke down. His knees shaking causing him to fall to the ground.

"What....? You're joking right? This is a horrible joke!" Yukine is crying then too. Even the other two were.

"I wish it was a joke." Yato told them.

"I'm dead?" Hiyori says. Her tears building up.

Yato hugs her, "it'll be okay Hiyori! Everything will be okay."

Then they all join in a group hug.

"Im still really confused about who you guys are," the pink eyed girl says.

"I'm Yukine. I'm Yato's regalia like you."

"I'm Kofuka! Now we get to be friends forever!"

"Diakoku." Was all he said.

Everyone stares at him.

He was annoyed by them, "I'm Kofuka's regalia." He tells her.

"What is a regalia though?" She asks.

They explain all that to her but, Yato thought it was best if she didn't know her past. She might lose herself in grief.

Hiyori had a lot of questions for them and they all stayed up late talking.

Yato decided for her to sleep him him tonight so she would be safe.

"Hey Yato?" Her voice soft.

"Hm?" He looks at her then blushing. She was still naked under those covers and he was about to join her in the bed.

"What were you to me when I was human?"

He pauses, "we... Well, we were together. In a relationship. Dating..." He blushes.

She smiles at him, "so we are in love?"

He looks at her, his cheeks still burning.

She smiles and grabs him. Forcing him to be close to her on the mattress. She cuddles up to him. He could feel her hot skin against his. His heart was racing.

"Did we ever kiss yet?" She asks.

"Yes..." He manages to say.

Then her lips press against his. He return it.

"We should probably go to sleep, Hiyori." He says.

"Mmm... Alright..." She was still cuddling him and Yato had no idea how he was supposed to sleep with her like that in the bed.
