After August is informed of the party plan, he hurries to the locker room to prepare for practice for tonight's game. As he digs in his bag for his suit, he looks up suddenly after hearing someone calling his name. He gets a glimpse of Jessica and is shocked, falling off of the bench screaming. Everyone looks at him nervously and the coach runs in quickly to see what the commotion was.
"Is everyone ok?" the coach asks immediately. August breathes in heavily and finally controls it responding to the coach, "Yea, I'm ok. I just scared myself a little bit."
"Alright, this is our last exhibition game tonight. We all have to stay focused and be prepared. Hurry up in this locker room and head out onto the field for practice and let's win this game tonight," the coach says aggressively but encouragingly.
The guys head out onto the field to practice. Time flies by and the game starts soon. August approaches the coach on the sideline to talk.
"Hey coach, do you think I can sit out this game? I'm not feeling too well. Besides, it won't hurt us if we lose this game; we're guaranteed a spot in the playoffs. So we're good right?"
"If you really can't play, then go home. Get well soon," the coach says disappointedly yet commandingly.
August agrees and leaves to the locker room. He heads to his car and drives home. On his drive, he turns the radio on. All of a sudden lights flash from behind him and he looks in his rearview mirror to see what's going on.
He finds Jessica sitting in his backseat. She jumps at him and he swerves the car out of control, crashing off of the road.
