Daughter Mikaelson
Chapter 28 : Into The Unknown
Part {3 | 3}I narrowed my eyes in obvious suspicion. "Uncle?" I said, it was clear that I wasn't buying his bull shit story.
The man was tall, and muscular. He had curly brown locks and baby blue eyes, he was handsome.
"My uncle?" I snapped, my eyes trailing up and down the man's tall frame. He sighed and nodded, "She's a smart one you got here, Nik." He looked over my shoulder and Klaus, smirking gently. I glared, "All my uncle's are dead, jackass." I hissed in utter annoyance.
"Yes, except for me." he corrected. "And Finn." he added quickly, remembering my other resurrected uncle. "He's somewhere in the Netherlands by now though. "So you're stuck with me." he grinned widely, his eyes scanning over my comparably small body, but not in a sexual way, in a way someone who hadn't seen you in a long time would look at you. It was... eerie.
"That's ridiculous. And- not to mention- impossible." I sighed, crossing my arms in frustration. Nobody spoke, and the only sound in the room remained mine and the strangers voice. "Come on..." I mumbled quietly, turning to face Elijah and Klaus, my mouth slightly parted as I stared in disbelief and shock.
"I mean, this is insane. People don't just come back from the dead." I shrugged quickly. "They do all the time, Love." The stranger said to me, rolling his eyes as he walked back into the kitchen, passing by Bekah and Hayley, who stood in the doorway.
"Wait, that's it? That's all i get?" I asked quickly, following the tall man quickly past my mother and aunt. "What are you? Where are you from?" I asked quickly. "Where have you been the past 18 years?" I quickly added. If the man really was my uncle, then he should have made some effort to speak with me... right?
"She's eager." The man complimented. My best guess was this was Kol Mikaleson. He definitely seemed like the asshole Bekah had described in her endless stories of her brothers.
** flashback
"Tell me more Bekah?" I begged and begged and begged for the woman to tell me about my relatives.
I'd never meet them, and I knew that. But the thought of having any other family than Bekah seemed so... patronizing and foolish. But undeniably interesting. I wanted to know everything about the once large MIkaelson clan that I'd never had the honor to meet, and I was determined to do that through the the remaining survivor, the blonde aunt I'd come to know and love.
"Finn was the second oldest-" she began another one of her breathtaking stories. She'd just finished telling me about Freya, although she refused to tell me certain parts, no doubt to spare my childhood innocence. I was 12, I didn't need filtering when it came to my family.
"-he was... very attuned, and quiet. He observed everything, and he was always mother's favorite." she chuckled, her eyes flashing with a bit of hurt.
Rebekah could deny it all she wanted but she missed Esther- my grandma- the two had been close in her human years, I could tell.
"Next came Elijah. He was as noble as ever, except he was much more fun back then." she smiled, "He and Niklaus were always either arguing, or playing- there was never an in between with them." she said nostalgicly, her blue eyes traveling slightly upwards as she thought about her time as a human.
