Chapter 20: Pass The Stuffing

Part 2/2:

"Wake up..."

Someone cooed.

"Wake up, Hope Mikalson..."

Someone said.

I sat upright in the bed quickly, still wearing my clothes from the day before.

"Stefan..?" I mumbled groggy, putting my hand to the side of my head. I opened my eyes to see Stefan standing beside my bed, his green eyes amused.

A smirk on his lips. "Stefan..? What the hell are you doing in my apartment?" I whispered groggily, rubbing my eyes.

Stefan grinned, and I felt this...

feeling.

"Who are you?" I demanded.

This wasn't Stefan.

He was different...

I jolted awake, my hair a mess, my clothes sweaty. I let out a sigh and pulled my hair from it's ponytail, running my fingers through the tangled strands.

My alarm was beeping loudly, and I groaned and switched it off, stumbling to the bathroom with my bag of unpacked toiletries.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face before getting in the shower.

I got dressed in a faded galaxy crop top that said "Dream Forever" and a pair of black leggings. I slid on a pair of black toms and jogged down the small staircase, my bag slung over my shoulder.

My hair was mostly wet, and I just pulled it into a low ponytail and grabbed my keys from the bar in the kitchen.

I locked the door quickly as I hurried to the elevator. Just as the huge metal doors were about to close, a hand stopped them. I narrowed my eyes in annoyance, but when the teenage boy walked through the doors, my heart fluttered in my chest.

"Nathan...?" I whispered. I vaguely remembered seeing him at the Founders Party.

I grinned like an idiot. Something about him made my palms sweat. I never thought I'd see him again. His eyebrows creased in confusion as he stared at me for a second.

For a second, panic and embarrassment coursed through my veins.

Of course he didn't remember me...

I thought. A smile broke across his beautiful face, and I chuckled a little.

"Hope, right?" He smiled. I nodded,

"Yeah. We... we met at the Founders Party."

I smiled, brushing back a fallen piece of hair, looking down at my shoes. He smiled, "Yeah." He chuckled.

"What are you doing here?" He asked. I gulped, "I just moved here yesterday." I chuckled. His eyes widened, "Really?" He asked. I nodded, biting my lip slightly, "Yeah." I answered sheepishly. "I live here with my siblings." He said. I nodded, smiling,
