The next morning, when Jayden woke, he found he had grown about a foot, and he felt more masculine. He was back to his normal age. He also found that he was sleeping next to Mia. Jayden started to quietly move, trying to get out of bed without Mia waking. His plan failed. "Jayden?" She said. "You're back to normal!" Mia hugged Jayden. "Yeah, and uh, I just wanted to say thanks for um, last night." Jayden mumbled. Mia stopped for a moment. "You're welcome." She said awkwardly. "...I'm gonna go make breakfast." She left the room, and Jayden sighed. He flopped back down onto his bed. "I'm so stupid." He thought. "I should just tell her."
Jayden was walking through the house when all of a sudden he collapsed onto the ground. He held his stomach and groaned in pain. The other members of the team came and found him. "Mentor!" Mike called. Mia knelt next to her leader. "Jayden? Jayden what's wrong?" She questioned, the panic evident in her voice. Jayden was in too much pain to hear what she said. It was starting to overwhelm him. The last thing he saw was Ji running into the room. Then, he hit the ground, and everything went black.
"Jayden!" Mia said. She was standing in the middle of a field, flowers braided into her hair. Birds chirped all around. The sun was at it's peak. "Mia!" Jayden called out. He started to run to her, and she ran back at him. "Mia!" Jayden said again when he had reached her. "I've missed you so much!" Jayden leaned in for a kiss. Jayden and Mia's lips had only touched for a moment. Their lips brushed together when Mia turned her head. She pulled away. "I can't kiss you Jayden." She said, a sadness in her voice. "Why not?" Jayden asked shocked. "I... I love you Mia." "Well, I'm sorry, but I don't love you." Mia said. A tear rolled down Jayden's face. "Who do you love?" He asked, voice cracking. "Kevin." Mia replied simply. A horse neighed in the distance. The blue ranger came riding to their location on a beautiful white stallion with a mane as long as Rapunzel's hair. Kevin hopped off the horse. "Beat it Jayden." He said, pushing Jayden to the ground with one hand. "You're no match for me." "Oh Kevin." Mia said affectionately. She hugged Kevin. The ranger picked her up and put her on the horse. He then climbed on himself and rode away, leaving Jayden alone in the field with his broken heart.
Jayden woke with a start. He looked around and realized he wasn't in his room. He was in the recovery room. There were long tubes running across the floor, and when he looked to what they were connected to, there was one in his hand, and one in his stomach. He sat up and groaned as there was a sharp pain in his head. The back of his head and part of his hair was wet. Ji opened the door and came inside. "You're awake." He said. "That's good. I was just changing your ice pack." Ji handed Jayden the ice pack and he put it behind his head. "What happened?" He asked. "You had some after effects from the poison, but it's already been pumped out of your system. The needle in your hand is connected to an IV." Ji explained. Jayden nodded and lay back down. "I'll be back soon, just rest for now. You should be good as new come tomorrow." Ji said, leaving the room. It was silent for a moment, but then Mia came in. "Hi." She said. "How're you feeling?" Jayden shrugged. "I've been worse." "I'm glad you're okay." Mia replied. "Really glad." She sat down on the bed. Jayden sat up, putting the ice pack on the table beside him. The two Rangers stared into each other's eyes for a minute and then... they kissed. "Does this mean what I think it means?" Jayden asked when the kiss was over. Mia smiled. "I think it does."
