Chapter 11 Lady, you are a brat!

"Psychic?" I asked and she nodded I looked out and seen that we were almost there, "Yes.. Wait, you are unaware of your ability?" She asked and I nodded.

"I never knew.." I told her and she gave a warm smile, "It's a gift, never take it for granted she really needs your help oh! And here's my stop." She said waving goodbye and then got up she started walking off the bus.

I thought about what just happened and shook my head, "It's time to get off, Aly." Kendra said and I got up and followed them, when we got off we all stood by the big building and I sighed then we all walked in.

"We dont have a lot of time right now so lets just sneak in." I told them and they both nodded, we snuck onto an elevator and went up to the very top sure it took awhile but we got there eventually.

We walked down the hall and to Josephine's office, I knocked on the door and it opened on its own the lights were off and the curtains were drawn. It looked pretty creepy but we made our way to the desk and I reached over and spun the chair around so it faced us.. Josephine sat there grinning madly, we all stared at her and I crossed my arms.

"What did you do with Charles?" I asked angry and she rolled her eyes, "Children, why would you help an old man? I mean, his wife died why would you care it happened a long time ago." Josephine said

"Because, I KNOW the real killers." I said and she raised an eyebrow then sat back in her chair, "Then, tell me who they are and why they did it." She said calm as possible but I knew behind it all she was scared.

"You and Laura's brother, it was you both." I said and she looked at me wide eyed, "M-me, how c-can you be s-sure?" She asked reaching for a phone but Joey unplugged it.

"Laura, she told me.. Why?" I asked and she eyed me for awhile before sighing, "Charles. We were going out in school and when SHE moved her and Charles got closer and closer until he broke up with me.. I was furious, her brother hated Charles so eventually we teamed up and once we were out of school we planned; well I planned to kill Laura, he never knew about it until we drove her through the forest." She paused and we stared at her waiting for her to continue.

"She begged for mercy but I wasn't going to let her live after wht she did so.. I shot her." She said and at that moment I heard a gunshot ring in my ear as if a memory had ended, I felt a shiver go up my spine, "I forced Richard to keep his mouth shut and blame Charles so what we did was throw her in the river unfortunitly, Richard decided to take my car out of fright from seeing his sister dead." She make a look of disgust.

"He crashed the car." She said and looked back at me, "Now you know, I must do something to keep you all shut!" Josephine said getting up from her chair and walking towards us.

"Run!" Kendra yelled and we started running and we ran til our lungs hurt, we finally came to the elevator and got in.

"We didn't get evidence." Joey said huffing and I doubled over so did Kendra, "Wouldn't be so sure about that." Kendra said then pulled out a recorder, I smiled.

"Dd you get it all?" I asked and she nodded, "Every last bit of information, the cops won't be able to turn this down." She said as the elevator came to a stop and we all ran out once the door opened, I seen two men running towards us all so we started running faster out the door and down the street we sure didn't know where we were going but we were going somewhere.

"Are we getting close?" I asked and looked ahead, we were almost there just a little more.

"Stop!" We heard one of the men say and it just made me run faster, "Aly! Take the recorder Joey and I will take them in another direction!" Kendra said giving me the recorder and I stuffed it in my pocket then ran up to the station, I stopped and looked back sure enough the men were chasing Joey and Kendra, I opened the doors to the station and walked in.
