The atmosphere remained quiet and still as Joe made his way down to the car Demi by his side and his parents just in front of him. He could see the sobbing girls in the corner of his eyes clearly happy that he was okay and finally back. He just didn't know how soon he'd be back with them. They made their way to the car Joe sitting Amelia down in the car seat then standing up straight looking behind him before speaking.

"Thank you." Was all he said the atmosphere soon filling with applauses Joe cracking a small smile as he climbed into the car in the middle Demi now sat next to him.

"You know I'm kinda jealous by the sobbing girls." Demi whispered in his ear Joe not helping but grin. He knew he wanted to be more than friends with Demi, he just wasn't ready for that sort of thing yet not when he couldn't even remember what his life was.

Joe held onto his mother's hand Amelia being in his arms again as they entered the hallway. His eyes wondered all around to see if he could recognise anything at all from his life, he could see plenty of photo frames up of the family, some of him and his family but some of Amelia too and another little girl Joe knew as his niece Alena.

"How long have we been living here for?" Joe questioned.

"We brought it out of you and your brother's first decent pay check." Paul answered.

"We weren't living in a big or good place before and we wanted somewhere nice to come home too especially for you after tour." Denise explained Joe letting go of her hand laying Amelia down in Demi's arms again.

"I'm going to wonder around, I'll meet you in the living room soon." Joe kissed his mother's cheek gently before he wondered away making his way upstairs his family watching him as he did. They didn't want him to think that he had to rush getting his memory back. He wasn't pushing them away or not believing them about anything so there was no need to rush. It could be a couple of years yet before he remembered anything. Joe made his way into every room looking around until he found his room that clearly still had the name Joe on the door. He sat down on the bed his eyes gazing around not wanting to miss any detail.

"Hey." Demi breathed.

"What are you doing up here?" Joe questioned as she stood in the doorway wanting to give him some space if that's what he wanted.

"Bathroom." Demi answered only entering when Joe patted the spot next to him Demi sitting down next to him leaning her head on his shoulder. Joe couldn't help but smile, he knew she wasn't lying about them or if she was he felt different about her now.

"I thought when I came home I might remember something." Joe muttered sighing as he looked down at the carpet. Demi too his hand squeezing it gently.

"You don't need to stress about it Joe, the doctors said that it might take a while for you to remember anything. We're all just glad that your okay and you're not pushing us away." Demi assured him leaning up kissing his cheek gently.

"It's just frustrating that I'm around you all and I still don't remember one thing. I just want everything to go back to normal, at the moment I just have to believe whatever you all tell me is true." Joe expressed Demi sighing slightly, she just wanted to take it all away for him. She too wanted everything to go back to normal.

"It will be back to normal soon, I promise."

"Don't make a promise you can't keep," Joe stated softly before looking at his bedside table, his eyes landed on a picture frame, he got up taking it up in his hands seeing him and his brothers signing the contract for their first record label. "I remember something!"
