Lucas stayed outside so he could think of what to say.

"What do you say to your kid and girlfriend who you just randomly left without warning?" he asked himself.

Sorry?

Hey?

I missed you?

"Mack! Farkle!" Riley cheered and hugged them. Grace stayed at the table working on her homework, or as Maya told her the teacher's torture method.

"Hey Riles!" they said and let go after hugging.

"Is that Grace?" Farkle asked looking over at the little girl doing her homework.

"Yep." Riley smiled.

"She's adorable!" Mackenzie squealed.

"Gracie!" Riley called getting Gracie's attention. She looked up from her homework and Riley motioned her over. She got up and walked over to where her mother.

"Grace this is Uncle Farkle and Aunt Mackenzie." Maya said and Gracie nodded.

"I'm an Uncle." Farkle smiled causing Mackenzie to hit him playfully on the arm.

"Hi Gracie." Mackenzie smiled and knelt to her height.

"Hi." Grace waved shyly making all of them smile.

"Riley, we brought you a surprise!" Mackenzie smiled.

"Is it a puppy!?" she cheered and jumped up and down. Josh picked up Gracie and Farkle opened the door revealing Lucas.

"Hey Riley." Lucas said.

"You?" Riley questioned upset.

"We really need to talk." he told her, obviously nervous.

"No." Riley said and crossed her arms.

"Riley I made a huge mistake. I've been regretting it for 9 years, I was too scared to tell you." he said.

"Lucas you left me." RIley said hurt which broke Lucas' heart.

"I know I did. And it was the biggest mistake of my life." Lucas.

"Wait?" Gracie whispered and jumped out of Josh's arms. She grabbed Riley's phone out of her hand and went to the picture.

"Gracie?" Maya questioned.

"It is." Gracie whispered looking up from the picture.

"Gracie." Riley said, but it was too late. Gracie dropped Riley's phone and ran up to her room.

"Gracie!" Riley yelled. "Look what you did!" Maya, Josh, Farkle, and Mackenzie ran upstairs after Gracie.

"Riley," Lucas started.

"Why did you leave? Why did you change your mind? Why did you make a promise to me and not keep it?" Riley screamed at Lucas.

"Riley I made the biggest mistake of my life. I don't know what happened. And all those 9 years it just pained me more and more. I will never forgive myself for hurting you or leaving you and Grace. I am such an idiot!" Lucas said.

"You are an idiot. But you're an idiot I've been in love with for 16 years." Riley told him and he smiled. Riley planted a soft kiss on his lips and he kissed back. They both looked into each other's eyes and Riley started crying. Lucas hugged her as she cried into his shirt.

They were both so confused.
