Chapter 13

Riley sat across the booth from Lucas on their very first date. Yes, they were back together. Lucas asked her out on Christmas and she said yes.

All they did on their date was stare at each other, then talk a little. It was simple, yet it meant the world to Riley.

It was just like the good old days in Middle School.

After paying Lucas ad Riley went home and stood on the porch.

"I had a great time tonight Lucas." Riley smiled.

"Me too, I hope we can do this again." he smiled and they kissed.

Riley felt every trouble around her stop. Like she was floating on cloud as the sun rose.

It was magical.

They both went in and Gracie, Mackenzie, and Farkle were watching a movie.

"How was the date?" gracie asked.

"Amazing." they both said in love.

Riley felt herself falling for Lucas again, and hard.

Gracie forced herself out of bed to start another day. WInter break ended, that meant stupid school.

Which is not what she wants.

"Bye." she mumbled and left.

Maya sighed. Knowing Farkle and Mackenzie are leaving again, and she is thinking Lucas is leaving again. Everyone is leaving.

Would Josh leave her?

What if he did?

"Hey Maya." Josh smiled and planted a kiss on her forehead.

"Josh, would you ever leave me?" she asked as she hugged him.

"Of course I wouldn't Maya. Where would you get that idea?" he asked.

"I don't know. Everyone is leaving." she sighed.

"Maya I would never ever leave you." he said and she smiled.

"Thank you Josh." she smiled.

"You're welcome." he smiled.
