We got to the mall and they dragged me all over the place. "Okay. Okay. Okay. I'm coming, I'm coming." i said as they dragged me into a dress store. "Hey, Sam, what about this one?" Ashley asked, She held up a green dress about floor length. My face turned from happy to total disgust. "i wanna look amazing , not like a mermaid." i said laughing. after about an hour later Heather picked up a black dress. "Hey sam, What about this one?" she asked. It was all black and it went just above the knees, it had long sleeves and it was all lacy. It was perfect.
We bought the dress and they dropped me off at home. It was about 4:30 so me an my mom could still go out. I put the dress in my closet, that I still haven't totally unpacked, and walked downstairs. "Mom" I yelled. She wasn't there but her car was in the drive way I ran down to the basement in her little area but she wasn't there either. Panic ran through me. "Mom." I screamed running into her room. Her bathroom door was closed but I could see the light seeping through the cracks. I ran faster than I ever have to the door. It was locked. "Mom, open up please! " I screamed pounding on the door. I could hear the water running but nothing else. I ran to her dresser and found a bunch I keys. I grabbed them and ran back over , key after key, I finally found the one I needed. It clicked unlocked and I threw open the door. She laid on the floor, the tub over flowing, and many different kinds of pills laying all over. I ran over to her, I could hear her still breathing. I ran to my room to find my phone. I grabbed it and dialed 911
"Hello, 911 what's your emergency ? " the lady asked.
I was balling my eyes out barely able to get words out "I need help... It's.... my mom" I said in between sobs. I gave her my address and in minutes an ambulance arrived.
When we got to the hospital they immediately took her into a room. I sat in the waiting room for what seemed like hours. Crying and pacing back and forth. The doctor came out
"You're mothers okay. She needs to stay over night, but when you take her home you need to keep an eye on her. We don't want another visit like this" he said and shook my hand. I knew I couldn't stay there, the smell of the hospital was giving me a headache and I still haven't eaten dinner yet.
I pulled out my phone and called Ally. No answer. I called heather and Ashley. No answer. I scrolled through my phone. I saw a name. It stood out. I looked at the clock it was 8:30. So I hit the big green call button. As it rang my anger went away and sadness took over me again
"Hello?" The voice boomed through the phone.
"Can you come get me ?" I said where I was and I walked out of the hospital.
I saw a car pull up. I got in and looked over "hi dad. " and we drove off.
