Chapter 15
August POV
Next morning 🌞
I sit up on the headboard holding the rose I got from Momma's funeral and just staring at it.
"I promise I'm going to make it big for you." I mumble to myself.
I have to to the their studio in like 2 hours so I start getting ready.
I went to the bathroom and went to Pandora and went to my "Boyz ll men" station and "end of the road" started playing. I started the water and waiting a little until it's hot and took all my clothes off and stepping it the shower letting the hot water hit my face.

I get out getting a towel wrapping around my waist. I get my phone stopping it and seeing that I been in the shower for an hour. Surprisingly the hot water didn't run out :)
I dry off and get dressed and going over Jadah house picking her up. I made sure I had my song lyrics because I didn't wanna mess up or some shit.
Jadah POV
I do my hygiene and get dressed waiting on August. I really hope he make this label because some good news for him would be very good right now in his life. As soon as I sat on the couch I heard a knock on the door. I sigh getting back up and opening the door seeing August looking amazing.
"Hey baby." I said hugging his torso.
"Hey lil girl." He smiled leaning down and pecking my lips.
"Your nervous?" I asked.
"Nah." He shrugged.
"Then , why are you shaking?" I asked holding in my laugh.
"Okay , okay. I may be a little nervous but I can handle it." He chuckled.
"Yeah, okay. You ready?" I asked going to get my phone and keys.
"As ready as I'll every be." He spoke in his NOLA accent.

August POV
We arrive at the studio and I park in the lot. I turn the car off resting my head on the steering wheel letting out an nervous sigh.
"August, your going to do great." Jadah said rubbing my back.
I look over at her a crack a smile.
"Yeah , your prolly right." I said. Getting out the car and intertwine out fingers together and walk to the double door. I take a deep breath opening the door letting Jadah in and then closing it behind me.
"There they are." Kevin said standing up and hugging Jadah.
"Kevin." She smiled hugging back.
"Wassup Bruh." He said as we dapped
"Nothing man, just a bit nervous." I shrug.
"Well, there's nothing to be worried about , all I need for you to do is give me a beat right quick then do your thing." He said.
