Chapter 23 .
August POV
"Oh my god." Jadah said hiding her face.
"Excuse me?" Her dad asked looking at me like I was stupid
"Oh you didn't hear me.." I said putting my tea down and sitting up. " Your daughter calls me daddy." I smirked.
Her father then throws a drank all on me like a little bitch. I froze and take a deep breath.
"That was so disrespectful." I said wipe my face with a couple of napkin. Giving him the death stare.
"August let's give go outside and cool off." Jadah insisted.
Without taking my eyes off that bastard I got up and walked out.
I lean up against the wall.
"You okay?" She asked standing in front of me.
"Fuck no. Your dad just embarrassed me in front of all those people. I started to get to up and beat the fuck outta that nigga but I didn't because I wasn't brought up like that." I spoke.
"I'm so sorry. I really am." She sigh.
"It's okay babeh' , your daddy just a little pussy nigga. Like what man throws a drank?" I asked scrunching my face up.
"He was in the moment. He probably didn't mean it." Jadah said.
"Oh he meant it. But I'm not even hungry anymore. I'm gone. I'll talk to you later." I said pecking her lips and jogging to the car.
Jadah POV
I walk in and sit back down and dad is just laughing and talking like nothing happened.
"What the hell was that?" I asked sitting down.
"Watch how your talking to me." He mumbled sternly. "But he shouldn't have disrespected me." He said eating some rice.
"You fucking embarrassed him and believe it or not he was hurt. Very hurt." I said standing up.
"Jadah that's still your father." My mom said.
"I don't care. That's my boyfriend and you fucking treat him like trash. I hate you right now." I said walking out. I don't really mean that I give felt it at the moment. That's it.
Me: August please come back and take me home.
August calls me.
"You know I don't text and drive." He chuckled.
"Sorry. I just really need to leave right now." I spoke.
"I'll turn around." He said.
"See you then." I said hanging up and waiting for him outside. Stacey then comes out .
"You good?" She asked.
I shrug my shoulders rolling my eyes.
"Every fucking body was staring at us. That's why I had to walk out." She chuckle. I shake my head laughing.
"Your daddy is so embarrassed." She said.
