Before I had left home and changed for the first time in a city that was three and a half miles away from my home town, my best friend's brother tormented me with his jerky friends help. Hue was going to become the Alpha of the Town Pack, and he did when he was twenty-one about. The normal age for Alphas. But I left before that when he was just starting to get used to being a wolf in his father's pack. Jillian and I hadn't changed at all yet, but I knew I was going to on my seventeenth birthday. I was not going to become apart of Hue's pack though. I refused. So I left home.

After a year in the city I found a twenty year old wolf named Natalya. She became my Beta in the pack of two we became. After about a week though, we had Jynx, Jingle, Poe, and Killer in our small pack. They became my family, and I became they're Alpha since that was my goal of leaving home. Rouges kept joining our pack, so our family kept growing. People started calling us the New Moon Pack since I was so young, so I changed my last name to Roxy Newmoon.

When the pack was two years old, the biggest, most powerful pack around started to take noticing that we we're growing on their territory. Kevin, the Alpha of the Moonlights, started a war with my pack. The war lasted for a year when Kevin asked me and Natalya to dinner with him. We went as guest, and in return there was a temporary truce between our packs. Kevin asked me to be his mate, but I refused.

The next day had been the four year anniversary of me leaving home, and almost three years since I started the New Moon pack, so I decided to call Jillian and let her know I would be home. I would be twenty-one in a week anyway, so I thought it'd be nice spending my birthday at home with my family. But of course, with the war, it wouldn't be nice. Kevin had been attacking my home for more territory for about a year and a half when I took one of his new wolves down. Hue had watched me and realized I wasn't the same helpless little girl that had left home four years ago.

I decided that it was time to end the war by killing Kevin. So I had Jynx and Poe watch over my home town and help the Town Pack take down anymore Moonlights that decided to show up. I went to Kevin's penthouse with my Beta Natalya, and started the fight that would end the war. Kevin was the strongest wolf alive until I, the fastest and sneakiest, took him down by crushing his windpipe and stabbing him in the heart for good measure. Natalya had taken Kevin's Beta Nathaniel down. The war was over, I could do whatever I wanted with the remaining Moonlights. I let them decide to join the New Moons or be rouges or have their own little packs.

While my pack, all the old and new pack members, celebrated that the war was over, Hue came and asked me to be his mate. I told him no. Then thought about what would be best for my pack and asked the pack to decide what I should. The alliance between the Town Pack and the New Moons strengthen when my pack said I should be mates with Hue.

It's been a month since the Mating Ceremony happened.

A month since the war ended.

And a month since I became the Alpha of the largest territory and pack around.

Not much has happened. I visit home every week to see Jillian and to try to avoid Hue. I might be his mate, but I don't want to be. I did it for my pack, and that's that. Natalya kept track of all the money we got from Kevin's businesses he ran while he was alive. I couldn't close them, and I really didn't want to have a job and be the Alpha of my pack. I made Poe, Jynx, Jingle, and Killer in charge of sections of the territory that I learned was bigger than Kevin let on. Hue, of course had the territory that belonged to the Town Pack. We did not share territory except for his house and my own home.

I moved out of the hotel suite and into a nice little cabin in the woods Kevin had owned. The woods were part of the territory I didn't know he had until Georgie, Kevin's unloyal brother, told me about all the territories their father had conquered and that Kevin had taken over after he killed their dad. I watch Georgie, waiting to see if he'll try to kill me for killing his brother, but he just roams the city with his mate and their small pack of four. They stay out of trouble, so I think he's okay.

Hue tries to visit me every week in my cabin, but I'm usually there at night and he visits during the day since he has patrol around his territory at night so his pack can rest during the day and hang with their families or whomever. I stay in the city most of the time, to make sure everything is good.

I thought that we didn't have to worry about anymore problems until Killer reported a strange wolf killing. He found a body of a pack member halfway through their transformation right outside the door of the club he runs. He says it's not like another werewolf killed this one though, more like a human. I didn't like the sound of that. Werewolf Hunters abandoned this area after Kevin took over. They couldn't be back, I mean why would they return? We don't kill anyone, and the crime rate in the city went down almost ninety percent.

Now, I hunt for anyone who's new to the city around the time the wolf was found. I will kill this person, wolf, or Hunter no matter what. No one messes with my pack.
