I walked out of global with Max's friend Conner. He has light brown hair that was a little shaggy and his eyes were hazel leaning towards the green shade. His clothes were a band tee and black skinny jeans, not really what you picture when you hear preppy. His smile was bright and his personality changing when he talked to the populars. We got along pretty well but he seemed as if he was in a preppy popular group. Although his personality didn't fit the stereotype.
He pointed down the hall we passed as he was still lecturing me.
"I'm telling you tenth Doctor is the best." I followed him down the hall way. "I'm taking you to my locker then showing you some humans." I nodded while skipping down the hall next to him.
"Babe no, eleven is the best." He laughed at me and opened his locker.
"You use pet names too?" I tilted my head when a girl came over and jumped onto his back.
"Hey soul sista!" I giggled quietly and he grabbed her legs quickly hold her up. I looked her over and saw her basic makeup her sparkling black eyeliner bringing attention to her blue eyes with yellow around the pupil. Her hair was mainly black with bright red highlights.
"Hey Izzy, this is Scarlet."
"Just call me Scar." She jumped down off his back and hugged me, I hugged her back laughing a little.
"Sure thing, so you're the new kid everyone is talking about?" I shrugged my shoulders smiling at her.
"Yeah I guess so, unless there's another new kid." She giggled softly.
"Well quick warning, watch out for the populars, and honestly just the rest of the school."
"Izzy you talk about them like they're horrible." She gave him a look and he sighed. "Not all of them are that way, and they won't hurt you." She bit her lip and stayed silent for a moment as though she was hiding something
"Alright guys well I wanna head to Max's table, leggo!" We all started walking down the hall and Izzy squeaked hitting Conner, he raised his eyebrows at her.
"Are you going to GSA today?" He chuckled lightly looking around and when he saw people he stopped.
"Not today weirdo, I have geometry." She looked around, seeing people she nodded and looked at me.
She held out her arm dramatically. "Shall we?" I linking my arm through hers we started skipping down the hallway. After another minute or so we came to a stop and I saw some new people.
"Scar these lovely people are the idiots I call my friends and sometimes I wonder why." A boy with dark side-swept hair placed an arm around her.
"Shush Izzy you love us, hi I'm Austin I'm a self conscious over confident asshole." I laughed lightly shaking my head.
"Well asshole it's a pleasure to meet you." He bowed and grabbed my hand kissing it lightly. I raised my eyebrows and Izzy smacked him.
"I'll tell on you, don't forget I can make you two break up like that." She snapped her fingers and he rolled his eyes at her.
"You also know I won't cheat on her." The two of them starting yelling at each other before a girl with long braids in her hair stepped in between them.
"Ladies I will separate you two and tell on you to Alex." That threat made the two of them fall silent.
I looked at them curiously. "Who's Alex?" Izzy giggled and bit her lip.
"She's my mommy." Austin sighed heavily and held a hand up as though he was going to smack Izzy but didn't.
"She like her best friend, Alex protects her like a mother would a daughter. God, Izzy you're so lucky I'm a pacifist." She kissed his cheek and hugged him tightly.
