All Alone

~5 days later~
"I wonder how Sam and Kate are, maybe they've been rescued?" Piper said in a sad tone before there was a knock at the door everyone cautiously opened it and to their surprise stood there was Kate she looked tired and weak and stumbled inside before Freddie took her to the couch "Get her some water" he shouted before Jasper ran to the kitchen and came back with a glass of water. "I'm sorry" Kate mumbled "You have nothing to be sorry for I shouldn't have been such a jerk" Freddie said before sitting next to her.

Sam PoV
Day 7 here I haven't made much progress maybe about 29-30 miles and I'm still no where near London maybe I should turn back, Freddie was right I still had a bit of charge on my phone and I texted Kate "Can one of you come and get me?" I texted before she replied a few moments later "Sure what's the address" she responded.

Back at the house
"That was Sam he wants us to get him he's about 50 minutes away I've got enough fuel to get me there" she said before she stood up "Don't think so" Freddie said whilst grabbing the keys "You need to rest, it's to risky to leave everyone here" he said before opening the door and got everyone in the car. "I don't know why we are picking Sam up he chose his path" Piper said "I agree" Jasper responded "Sam was the right person for defence without him we are dead people walking without him we have no chance weather we like him or not we need him" Freddie replied. They drove to the address to see Sam stood by the bike he stole "Hey stranger" Freddie said in a joking way "Great to see you too" he said before laughing and getting in the car "How could you be so selfish" Piper snapped to him "See she hasn't changed then, oh god what happened to you?" He said directing to Kate "I've spent the past 5 days sleeping in a car and living off some weird berries I found and dirty water I'm exhausted" she said before starting to fall asleep "She doesn't look good" Sam said a few moments later "What did the berries look like?" He added "They were a red colour and had white spots" she replied in a weak tone, he leant in towards Freddie "They are poisonous berries, she could die" he said but didn't want to raise concern to the others "How can we stop it?" Freddie replied "I'm not sure" Sam replied before slumping back into his seat......

(Sorry about the short chapters I've been struggling to find time to write I've got loads of ideas it's just finding the correct time to put them in as I don't want to rush this story)
