There was no escape. He was trapped. Sirens screeched out as the building slowly locked down. He ran back and forth, between the closed doors and walls, but there was no exit. Frantic, he pounded on the nearest door, yelling out to anyone who could be bothered listening. No one cared. He came to a stop in the centre of the area he was in, as he sank to his knees. He put his head in his hands and closed his eyes. A few seconds later, something hit the back of his head, and he crumpled onto the floor, completely knocked out.

Lalna woke up. His head was throbbing, and he couldn't see clearly. His ears were ringing, and he tried to lift up his arms, but they were bound to the table he was on. Slowly, his vision began to clear, and the ringing went away, replaced by the humming of... Machines?! Lalna forced his eyes to fully open, but when he could see, he wished he hadn't looked at all. He was lying on a flat white table, and he was next to numerous machines that had large screens on them, displaying information about his vitals. Then there was another table, smaller than the one he himself was on, but covered in all the different types of tools. Some a doctor would use, some a dentist could possibly use, all the way up to building tools. Lalna shuddered. Then he heard a pair of muffled footsteps, coming from behind him. He tried to turn his head, but he couldn't twist around that far. Instead, he started to try and pull on the bonds holding him in place. Suddenly, the footsteps stopped. Lalna continued to struggle against the leather bands around his hands and feet, but then the other person spoke, and he stopped struggling, as he lost all hope of escape when he heard who spoke. The voice chilled the blood all through his body, and he scrunched his eyes shut, trying to block it all out, but nothing worked. When he heard the person who spoke, he saw himself dead within the next few hours. When he heard the person who spoke, he saw pain.
"Hello, brother."
