"Well, that solved all our problems!" Xephos sarcastically yelled. Honeydew wasn't listening though. He was deep in thought about their encounter with Lalnable. "Xephos, don't you think something about Lalnable seemed a bit... I don't know... Off?" They stopped walking, and Xephos turned to face his friend. "You're thinking what I'm thinking, aren't you?" Xephos asked seriously. Honeydew shrugged. "TIME FOR SOME JAFFA CAKES!!!" He shouted, as they ran towards the snack room.

Lalna knew he shouldn't have fallen asleep. When he had woken up, he'd felt that he was once again tied to the table, and the door seemed to be securely shut. He didn't know how to feel anymore. Sometimes he'd feel sad, sometimes he'd feel angry, and sometimes he was even anxious, for what was to come. He felt alright at the moment, while he'd been untied, he'd been given food and water, and even then, while he'd been tied up before, they'd untied him at regular intervals. Suddenly, the door slammed open again, revealing two different scientists. They walked over to him, and said nothing as they attached some chords from his bonds to a machine. Lalna looked up at the ropes holding him down, only to see that they weren't in fact ropes, but a thick, metal-like cuff. There were little flashing lights on each of the cuffs, and every few seconds, they would fade on and off. When they were on, they were a light red. Lalna didn't like that. Red always meant bad. A voice distracted him from his thoughts. "We have a few... Tests.... We need to try today!" One of the scientists muttered. Lalna was shaking uncontrollably now, and he could feel sweat dripping down his neck. "First," the scientist called over to the other who was writing notes. He nodded, and then the first scientist pushed a few buttons, then the cuffs began to hum. Lalna tried to shake his arms around, but he froze in place, as a current swept through his body. He held back a scream as the electricity prickled through him, and he refused to show any weakness. Then the feeling stopped, and he collapsed back into a neutral position on the table. Well, as neutral as it could be with the cuffs on him. The scientist manning the machines looked over at the one taking notes. "He does not react to the electricity," he continued. "Although it was only on a low setting." The one with the note pad nodded, scribbling down a few things. Then the original scientist turned back to Lalna. "I hope you realised that becoming an evil clone would have a cost," he said, narrowing his eyes. Then he looked back at the machine and punched a few more buttons. "Second." He flicked a lever, and for a few seconds, nothing happened. Then Lalna felt something crawling up his lab coat. It wasn't alive. He looked down, and saw something worse than before. Fire. His eyes opened wide, and this time he shrieked as he saw the dark flames flickering up his body. It wasn't a natural fire. It was magic, although more specifically, ender magic. That was bad. It wouldn't burn his clothes, but it would do a lot more damage to him than normal fire. Lalna squeezed his eyes shut and put his head back. He felt even worse knowing who they would have got the magic from. After all, there was only one Enderborn. Then the first flame leapt onto his left arm. At first, his arm only felt fuzzy, then slowly, the fire and poison of it slipped across his arm. The fire faded away, but he couldn't feel his left arm anymore. For a few seconds, he lay there like that, wondering what was going to happen, then a searing pain shot down his arm and he blacked out.
