"You're not a hero, staying here," Lalnable called, as they circled round the clearing. He finally dislodged Xephos' sword from his arm, and threw it to the ground. Already though, Xephos could see the damage the poison had done from the purple aura. The wound in Lalnable's arm was closing slightly, due to his powers, but not before the poison could get in. Purple lines started reaching out across his arm, but apparently they had done nothing else so far. "I don't care if I am or if I'm not, I won't let you touch my friends," Xephos replied. He had drawn his bow as a precaution, but he glanced over at his sword, trying to figure out how he could get to it. He was distracted for a few seconds, and Lalnable took that time to charge over to him. As he ran, a dark coloured sword appeared in his hand. It wasn't completely black, more of deep purple. The hilt of the sword was wrapped in black leather though, and it flicked around as he ran. When he got to Xephos, he didn't take a pause before swinging his sword round in a few quick slashes. The first two got him on the back, but luckily they weren't too deep. The third cut him on his right arm, as he turned on a impulse. It was deeper than the first two, and it went down the length of his arm. It started bleeding straight away, and as Xephos scrambled backwards, Lalnable started laughing. His laugh chilled Xephos' blood. It gave him shivers and goosebumps. It reminded him: This is what his friends would be hearing if he didn't try to stop him. Xephos quickly tore off part of his shirt, and wrapped it tightly around his arm as a makeshift bandage. It would do. He didn't exactly have a hospital at his disposal. He slowly stood up, shaking as he looked towards Lalnable. He had stopped laughing now,  and was staring out towards YogLabs. "Such a large lab... Filled with so many people," He muttered. Xephos quickly ran over and picked up his diamond sword, then he called out to Lalnable. "Didn't you hear me already, Lalnable? You are NOT touching my friends!" Lalnable turned to face Xephos, surprised that he'd moved. Then his expression became full of anger. "You will never defeat me, I am Lalna's clone. I am a more advanced version of him. I am, the herobrine of him. I am invincible!" Lalnable shouted, then he started walking towards Xephos again.

Rythian finally appeared next to Trott, before collapsing to the ground. Trott quickly turned, then saw the Enderborn on the ground. He quickly glanced around, then he crouched down next to him. "Where's Xephos?" Trott whispered. Rythian shook his head. "He'll be fine. I had to come to tell you something about Lalna..." His voice trailed off as he looked over at him. Lalna was sitting up against a wall, asleep. "Look, he may look okay now," Rythian continued. "But apparently Xephos said that he found out that his sword was covered in flux. Even though Lalna already has some taint, it will speed up the process at which it takes over him, and we still haven't seen the full effects of flux yet." Rythian sighed, then looked back over at Honeydew and Kim, who were talking quietly to each other. "Tell the others, Trott." Rythian said quietly. "Wha- me?!" Trott asked, surprised. Rythian nodded. "Yes, you. Now go." "What about you? Why can't you tell them. After all, you know more than me about what's going to happen." "I need to go back and help Xephos." Rythian said firmly. Trott began to walk away, but then he realised what Rythian had said. "What do you mean, 'help Xephos'? What are you guys doing...?" Trott asked quickly. Rythian glanced up at Trott and sighed again. "Lalnable Hector has returned, and he is bent on destroying us and YogLabs."

Xephos brought his sword up in a defensive position, as Lalnable swung his again, and again. He was holding up against Lalnable, but he could already feel himself weakening against the strength and speed of Lalnable's hits. Eventually, his arm gave way, dropping slightly, giving Lalnable a chance to knock Xephos' sword down. Xephos managed to keep a hold of his sword, but only just. He took a small stab at Lalnable, and it cut him on his side. It wasn't much of a wound, but it was enough to distract Lalnable for a few seconds. Xephos took a few more swipes at Lalnable, before he caught the hilt of his sword, throwing it away. Lalnable stood up straight again, and Xephos could see that his wound had already healed. "Let's face it, you know that you're not going to win this battle!" Lalnable exclaimed. Xephos shook his head, and ran forwards again. He leapt up in the air, and shot out his right leg in front of him, ready to kick Lalnable, but he grabbed Xephos' leg and threw him down to the ground, using his own momentum to pull him down. Xephos slammed straight into the ground on his front, wincing as his right arm hit the ground.  He lay there, as everything went quiet again. Then Lalnable picked him up, holding him by the neck. Almost like a chicken. Xephos couldn't breathe. His vision went lopsided, before going completely fuzzy. He tried to pry Lalnable's hands away, but he was already too weak. He could feel the veins in his neck pulsing, as time passed. His stomach hurt, and his head was pounding from the lack of oxygen. Then Lalnable released him. Xephos fell, instantly heaving in great big breaths of air. His neck hurt like hell, but refused to give up. That was until Lalnable decided that he'd had enough rest. He kicked Xephos a few times, while he was still on the ground, before reaching for his sword again. Xephos' eyes were all blurry again, and his thoughts were clouded. This must've been how Lalna felt... He was able think, before he fell unconscious.
