He stared at her. His mint almost white orbs stared at the dark brown haired woman who was neatly wrapping his burns."Why do you care to help me?"He asked his voice empty and dull.
"Because Ruben those people shouldn't have burned your barn just cause your family bought a lot of land..." She said finishing up with her wrapping.
He put his hand down on the cool white sheets giving a sigh and looking into her pastel green eyes that shined as if they were stars."You don't have to keep rewrapping my burns Cynthisa.."He said softly.
The dark haired woman gave a soft light giggle. "I know but the way you wrap them they will fall off within a few minutes"she said giggling
Ruben gave a soft smile up at her and watched as she left to go to work. He gave a heavy sigh and sat up off her guest bed. He has been staying with this woman while he worked at Beacon Mental Hospital. She wasn't freaked out by his studies or anything with his work..
Instead she seemed to understand his work...She was something else...and he was beginning to fall in love with this woman.
