*Harlow's POV*
Dean was holding Ashley but we caught her just in time to see her healing Dean's broken nose. Wow, she is strong but I guess healing him like that when she was already weak kind of did drain her energy. I ran over to my sister but Dean just held her closer to him, shielding her, it seemed but I know that I cannot force them to tell me so I will just find out on my own. Stormy, Jack and the Doctor all appeared just a few seconds after Ashley was taken inside and they followed us in, ready to see what had happened to the golden child it seems.
She was sitting on her bed upstairs as Mrs. Hudson was downstairs making tea for us, saying that it is only right that she serves her guests but I cannot help but think about Ashley. She bolted from what I heard and I have to do what I can to get her back to her normal self. As I was thinking, I heard a small yip and looked down to see a small dog that was now wearing some sort of green ribbon around his neck before Castiel sat by me, holding the puppy in his arm before looking at me. "Harlow, Ashley will be fine now. She is...she was in a dark place when she left our sight just a few hours before but I promise you, she will be find now." He says as I nod, putting my head in my hands as I feel the puppy lay by me.
"I just can't help but blame myself because if I had told Dad and the others, Ashley would not have ran like that." I mumble as Castiel lifts my face up to him, wiping what tears had slipped from my eyes. "Ashley came back, she is back and safe. You did what you had to do to protect her because she is your sister, even if not in blood as you said." He smiles gently as I nod and hear John come to me before he looks down at me. "You need to talk to Ashley please." He asks as I nod before standing, following him to my sister's resting spot.
Ashley tells the others to leave as I come in and shut the door before I run over to her, hugging her tightly to me. "Don't ever do that again you idiot!" I shout into her hear as she runs her hand through my hair and I smile at her, happy that she was not hurt. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner Ashley!" I feel tears form as she shushes me. "Don't be upset Harlow. That is in the past and right now, I just am happy to see that you are happy and safe." She grins before looking down at my hand, realizing that I was wearing my engagement ring. "I see that Sam finally asked. Damn, it took him long enough." She laughs, as I look at her, confused.
"Harlow, Sam has had a crush on you since I went to Stanford 4 years ago. The night that I told you I was no more than a phone call away and he heard you talking to me about what all you had done that day just to be yourself. Sam told me that he started to fall for you just because of who you are. I seriously half expected him to propose to you that day you both met." She laughs as I wipe my eyes again. Sam had loved me that long but we only dated over a year while he knew me that last 4 years? That man is in so much trouble when I see him.
"Wait, Does this mean that you don't care if I am engaged to Sam? You aren't upset or going to tell me that I am rushing things?" I expressed as she shook her head and looked me in the eye as she held my hand. "Harlow, I can see both of you, I lived with both of you remember? You are my sister and he was my roommate at Stanford as well as one of my best friends while there up to today." She starts as I see her look at my ring, tears slowing shining in her eyes. "You both are so loyal, so kind as well as just and have no problems being who you are. Sure, he can be temperamental and bossy but as can you." I hear her laugh as I give her a glare before she gets serious. "Harlow, you and Sam were meant for each other. I am sorry I didn't introduce you both sooner to each other because then, you would have had more time together." She breaks out a small smile as I wipe her eyes.
"My only request for you before you do even consider planning the wedding is to always be there for him. Learn from the mistakes that Dean and I make in our relationship please. Enjoy all the time you have with him and always watch each other's backs. I know how rash you Hunters are so I want you all be safe." She expresses as I nod and hold her close to me, letting my sister actually soothe me, letting me cry and for the first time in a while, I actually had my sister, even if she is not my biological sister because to me, as dad says, Family doesn't end in blood.
